Janet Kay is best known for the Dennis Bovell produced single Silly Games which went to #1 in the UK charts at the start of 1979. Janet kay has also had many other underground hits including Lovin' You, That's What Friends Are For, I Do Love You and more. She has worked with Fatboy Slim, Jackie Mittoo, Aswad, Sly & Robbie and more during her career. Carroll Thompson first found fame with the reggae smash I'm So Sorry and followed this up with more classics such as Hopelessly In Love, Make It With You, Love Won't Let Us Wait, I'm Still Waiting and more. Carroll was lead vocalist and founding member of 1980’s jazz-funk group Floy Joy and she has worked with Sugar Minott, Trevor Walters, Courtney Pine, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Natalie Cole, Maxi Priest, Billy Ocean, Aswad & Mad Professor.

The Drizabone Soul Family are a UK-based soul collective led by Billy Freeman. In the early 1990's Drizabone scored UK chart hits with the classic singles 'Real Love', 'The Pressure', 'Catch The Fire' & 'Brightest Star'. The Drizabone album 'Conspiracy' came out in 1994 and is still revered as a UK soul classic. The remix of 'I Love Your Smile' by Shanice ended up selling more than the original and went to #2 in the UK charts. Further remixes followed for Lisa Stansfield, Mary J. Blige, Barry White, Diana Ross, & Jody Watley. In 2010, the newly-named Drizabone Soul Family released the 'All The Way' LP featuring the singles 'Don't Break My Heart', 'I Fell Apart', & 'Girlfriendz'. Philly Soul/Rare Groove Legend Jean Carne (a.k.a. Jean Carn) announces three European exclusive concerts. Jean Carne's recording career began in 1971 with her then husband Doug Carn. Three albums 'Infant Eyes' (1971), 'Spirit of the New Land' (1972) and 'Revelation' (1973) came out on the influential Black Jazz Records label. Following this Jean Carne worked with Norman Connors for a number of albums memorably providing the vocal for the jazz-dance classic 'Mother of the Future' on the 'Slew Foot' album (1974). Between 1976-1981 Jean Carne released four albums with the Philadelphia International Records label - 'Jean Carn' (1976), 'Happy To be With You' (1978), 'When I Find You Love' (1979) and 'Sweet and Wonderful' (1981). These recordings produced some of her widely acknowledged classic songs such as 'Don't Let It Go To Your Head', 'Was That All It Was', 'Free Love' and more. Jean Carne signed to Motown Records in 1982 for the 'Trust Me' album. Jean Carne has also collaborated with Duke Ellington, Earth, Wind & Fire, George Duke, The Temptations, Dexter Wansel, Kenny Gamble, Stanley Turrentine, Billy Paul, Azar Lawrence, Mtume, Al Johnson ('I'm Back For More'), Bohannon, Rick James, Roy Ayers, Grover Wahsington Jr. and many more. In celebration of one of the most iconic reggae musicians of all time, AGMP Concerts are presenting a special one-off night in dedication to John Kenneth Holt,professionally known as John Holt, with a live performance from Winston Reedy & 1,000 Volts of Holt, under the musical direction of Ciyo 'Guitar' Brown. John Holt was a Jamaican reggae singer who first found fame as a member of The Paragons before establishing himself as a solo artist. In 2025, Sugar Minott would have been turning 69 years of age. In celebration of one of the most iconic reggae musicians of all time, AGMP Concerts are presenting a special one-off night in dedication to Lincoln Barrington Minott, professionally known as Sugar Minott, with a live performance from Winston Reedy & the Black Roots Collective, under the musical direction of Ciyo 'Guitar' Brown. Sugar Minott started his career as part of the African Brothers group in 1969. When the group disbanded in 1974, Sugar Minott recorded for Studio One as a solo artist for the rest of the 70's before forming his own Black Roots record label and hitting #4 in the UK charts with 'Good Thing Going'. Sugar Minott was also a pioneer of the dancehall style. He sadly passed away in 2010. Winston Reedy & the Black Roots Collective will be performing Sugar Minott classics such as - Good Thing Going, Hang On Natty, Lovers Rock, Hard Time Pressure, Babylon, My Love Is True, Never Gonna Give Jah Up, Herbman Hustling, River Jordan, Dancehall Stylee, Mr. DC, Feel The Riddim, Nah Follow No Fashion - and many more.
