Dumbleton Hall

The original Dumbleton Hall can be traced back to 1534 as the home of the Cocks family. In the late 18th century the hall fell into disrepair and was demolished. Rebuild in the mid 19th century, the hall became home to the Eyres family who later played host to guests including John Betjeman and the Mitford sisters. During WWII the hall was allegedly considered as an alternative venue for the House of Lords. In 1959 Dumbleton Hall became a hotel. It is served by Evesham Railway Station, 15 minutes by taxi, or Cheltenham, 35 minutes by taxi. The nearest airport is Birmingham International, approximately 65 minutes by road. Free onsite parking is available.
