Workshop Dates and Themes: 15th July – Battlefield Beacons Craft your own decorative lamp using jars and materials while discovering how Moonlight Batteries used light on the battlefield during WW2. 22nd July – Music Makers Make your own musical trumpets from cardboard and drums from tin cans as you explore the history of music in the military. 29th July – Secret Messages Learn about secret wartime communication by creating invisible ink and wax messages, then use beads and string to try out Morse code. These sessions are perfect for younger children and their grown-ups to enjoy a fun and engaging morning out—combining creativity with a little bit of history!
