Sheffield Steel Netball Senior Performance Trials 2025/26 season Senior trials are open for all U16 Y10/11 performance netballers who want a place in the senior programme to run alongside U16 performance (U16 must also have separately registered for the U16 trials). Do not register if you do not wish to commit to Thursday senior training and the relevant competition alongside U16 performance. Senior trials are open for all U19 performance netballers who want a place in the senior programme to run alongside U19 performance. If not successful at gaining a place in U19 performance, U19 netballers will be offered a place in U19 Core Saturday sessions so they still will be offered the two training sessions a week. Senior trials are open for all seniors wanting to be part of our senior performance programme with Thursday training and competition. Netballers Y12-Y14 can elect not to trial for U19 and elect to train on a Thursday weekly as part of a senior squad and play in the South Yorkshire County League without any commitment to Saturday sessions. Elite senior netball athletes should apply separately for the Elite programme by emailing [email protected] Netballers Y11 and below who do not trial for U16 performance are not eligible for these senior trials, they are offered a place in our U16 Competitve Core Club training and competition.
