Bingley Arts Centre

Bingley Arts Centre is a community arts centre, chiefly busy as the home of Bingley Little Theatre, an amateur theatre company which puts on several plays a year. It also receives touring comedy shows, other local groups and non-performance events such as a flower club. It's even been known to host the NHS Blood Service, when needed. Bingley station is literally around the corner, and the centre has free car parking in the evening. It's located on the town's main street, which is served by several bus routes.

Simon and Garfunkel Through the Years
Critically-acclaimed as one of the greatest tribute shows in the world, Simon & Garfunkel Through the Years has toured extensively in the UK, Europe, Australia and USA, receiving standing ovations and selling out theatres night after night. Music for Marie Curie - Hot Aire Concert Band
Matinee Concert Hot Aire! Concert Band are delighted to be returning back to Bingley Arts Centre to perform a spectacular fundraising concert for Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford. The band will be performing a wide genre of popular pieces suitable for all the family. Airedale Flute Choir will be joining us in the afternoon. The flautists will be performing a selection of popular and classical music in their own unique style. St Walburga's School Choir, Shipley are very excited to be participating in our fundraising event. We look forward to hearing their beautiful voices. Evening Concert Hot Aire! Concert Band are delighted to be returning back to Bingley Arts Centre to perform a spectacular fundraising concert for Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford. The band will be performing a wide genre of popular pieces suitable for all the family. The wonderful Bradford Accordion Band will be joining us for our evening performance. The band's repertoire comprises of folk, pop, classical, film and other cultures music. Bradford Accordion Band prides itself on giving a lively performance with plenty of audience interaction. Hall Royd Community Brass Band based in Shipley will play a selection of traditional brass band music, classical adaptations, and more popular works.

One of the most popular of the Gilbert & Sullivan comic-operas, Iolanthe has been described as a magical musical fantasy, which sees Gilbert & Sullivan at their sublime and satirical best. The world of politics and the world of fairy-tale collide in this funny and irreverent end-up of Parliament set to some of the most beautiful music ever written by Sir Arthur Sullivan. In its topsy-turvy way, the House of Lords is gently lampooned as a bastion of the ineffective, privileged and dim-witted. With an excellent cast including Graham Weston as the 'Lord Chancellor' and Helen Fieldsend as 'Phyllis', be prepared for laughs, thrills and fabulous music in this touring production directed by Graham Weston with professional orchestra, conducted by Oliver Longstaff.

Blt Studio Presents The Plays The Thing
Studio at Bingley Little Theatre is proud to present its third ITCH scratch night of new material, The Play's The Thing... For several months, local award-winning writer, Jonathan Hall, has been working with local writers at Bingley Arts Centre to develop them as playwrights. The result is the performance of eight fantastic new pieces of theatre. Our scratch events are produced in a day: we rehearse the material in the morning, undertake a technical rehearsal and run through in the afternoon and then present it, script-in-hand, in the evening. The audience is invited to give the writers feedback, using the latest technology, for research and development purposes. Join us for a fabulous opportunity to help foster new and exciting writing and writing talent, here at the home of Bingley Little Theatre.
