Neo-traditional trio of nonconformist and progressive Scottish folk music Blasting onto the scene, Project Smok is Pablo Lafuente, Ewan Baird and BBC Young Traditional Musician of the year 2020 Ali Levack, whose forward thinking Scottish traditional music has set them apart since their formation in 2017. Live on stage, top 12 piece mambo/Afro-Cuban jazz/salsa ensemble Orchestra Mambo International. If you love the music of Latin legends Tito Puente, Ray Barretto and Eddie Palmieri, you will love this band. Orchestra Mambo International is a 12 piece UK ensemble founded and co-led by DJ Lubi and salsa/Latin jazz trombonist Jonny Enright (Grupo X). They play classic salsa, mambo, Afro-Cuban jazz, Cuban son and cha cha cha inspired by Latin music legends like Tito Puente, Machito, Eddie Palmieri, Ray Barretto, Tito Rodriguez and the Fania All Stars. They feature musicians and singers from Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Spain, Brazil and the UK who are based across the country - London, Yorkshire, Manchester, London and Scotland. The Belgrave House Band, on a mission to celebrate and honour that historic art form, the album, are back once again for edition No.9 to take on the multi-award winning, chart-topping, Doo Wopping, Soul, Reggae and Jazz masterpiece Back To Black. Amy Winehouse's second and most well-known album produced by the esteemed Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi with The Dap-Kings as backing band. The Belgrave House Band's lineup is decorated with a full horn section, backing vocalists and a rhythm section from Leeds burgeoning Jazz scene, chosen to honour Amy's live band circa 2007. The band will also be taking movement direction from prestigious choreographer, Ruby Portus, who has closely studied the movement of not only Amy's live performances but also the 60's Girl Groups the album takes so much influence from.

Mohammad’s own brand of ecstatic music takes elements from Middle Eastern and North African music to create an atmosphere of joy, love and happiness. Mohammad Syfkhan is a Kurdish/Syrian Singer and Bouzouki player. He began playing music in 1980 while he was in college studying nursing. When he got his degree in 1983, Mohammad moved to the city of Raqqa, Syria where he began working as a professional singer and started his own band, The Al-Rabie Band which played concerts, parties, weddings and festivals all over Syria. The Al-Rabie Band were a much sought-after group. Their live sets included Kurdish, Arabic, Turkish and some Western songs as well as Mohammad’s own original material. Presented by The Beauty Witch. Yasmin Williams is an acoustic fingerstyle guitarist with an unorthodox, modern style of playing. Her music has been commonly described as refreshing, relaxing, and unique and has been called some of the most imaginative guitar music out today. She utilizes various techniques including alternate tunings, percussive hits, and lap tapping in her music to great effect. She has won various local talent shows, was a finalist in the Rolling Stones Young Gun guitar competition, was the Grand prize winner of New York University's Ultra Violet Live talent show, and won the Gold Prize in the Instrumental category of the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest. She has been featured on several radio and television programs including New Sounds Soundcheck Podcast, NPR's Weekend Edition Saturday show, NPR Night Owl, NPR All Songs Considered, Woodsongs Old Time Radio Hour, and WUSA9, along with high profile magazine features such as Acoustic Guitar Magazine and Vintage Guitar Magazine.

Jeffrey Allen Townes, known professionally as DJ Jazzy Jeff, is an American DJ and producer. He was one half of the Hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & the Fresh Prince, along with Will Smith. He is credited, along with DJ Spinbad and DJ Cash Money, with popularizing the transformer scratch.

NYC rapper Billy Woods and LA producer Kenny Segal are back with their first collaboration since 2019’s Hiding Places; their new album Maps drops May 5th on Backwoodz Studioz. Los Angeles-based Thumpasaurus are a gang of five young American musicians taking hugely divergent influences and channelling them into something uniquely Thumpasaurian. Thumpasaurus offer up their own unique punk/funk stew wherein, hidden in plain sight and sound, you’ll find traces of Zappa, Beefheart, James Chance, Funkadelic/Parliament, Morphine, Devo, Talking Heads and Prince, as well as some rocking heavy metal, free jazz, musical theatre and even some light opera references thrown in for good measure. 2018 saw the band record an EP with legendary house producer, Dirtybird’s Justin Jay. Consisting primarily of remixed Thump songs, the EP was premiered by Annie Mack on BBC Radio 1.The band released their self-produced debut album, The Book Of Thump, in 2019. Thumpasaurus released a second album 'Thumpaverse' in 2021.

Devised by Bjarte Eike and performed by Barokksolistene, The Alehouse Sessions recreate the sounds and the atmosphere of an English 17th century tavern. The Sessions give audiences a window into this tumultuous period through Purcell overtures, English sea shanties, and Scandinavian folk songs thrown in for good measure. This diversion from the traditional concert model is what is at the heart of the Sessions. Through the medium of these well-loved tunes, a story of the period is interwoven into the music making; creating a unique environment between audience and performer. Using their own arrangement of the tunes, these ‘Alehouse Boys’ combine this unique format with humour, an unrivalled virtuosity and flare for improvisation. The Lovely Eggs are an underground surreal-psych punk rock duo from northern England. They have a fierce ethos that music should have no rules. For Holly and David, being in a band is a way of life. True to this , they live the way they play -- fiercely, constantly, in search of the good times. With 8/10 thumbs up from the NME and much support from BBC6 Music and Radio 1, the band continues to sell out gigs across the UK without the help of management, booking agent or record label support. On Tuesday 27th May at Belgrave Music Hall, we’ll take a deep dive into two landmark albums from The Boss’s storied career, showcasing the raw poetry and cinematic sweep that have made his music timeless. We begin the evening with Nebraska (1982), a stark and haunting collection recorded as home demos. Stripped of the E Street Band’s bombast, Nebraska reveals Springsteen at his most vulnerable and intimate, weaving dark tales of American life with little more than voice, guitar, and harmonica. It's a record that demands deep listening - its quiet intensity offering a powerful counterpoint to the anthems that made him famous. For the second half of the night, we turn to Born To Run (1975) - the album that cemented Springsteen’s place as a rock ’n’ roll icon. Every song bursts with urgency and ambition, from the widescreen drama of the title track to the streetwise romance of "Thunder Road." Fifty years on, Born To Run still sounds like freedom itself - a bold, breathtaking ride through dreams, desperation, and hope.
