Newbury Racecourse
The Racecourse, Newbury, to give it its proper name, was built in 1905 and hosts both flat and National Hunt races. It hosts two Grade 1 races, the Lockinge Stakes and the Challow Novices' Hurdle, and many other fixtures.
The course offers a variety of hospitality packages for conferences and entertaining, all the way from the Grandstand, with a capacity of 1000, up to the self-contained and very private Royal Box, which holds up to 46. The course has a civil marriage license and can host weddings from the intimate to the very large.
The course has its own railway station, Newbury Racecourse, connecting to London Paddington. Road access is available via the M4 and A34. There is on-site parking. A helicopter landing area is available by prior arrangement with the Clerk of the Course.

What does deep house, the work of Stockhausen, a self-programmed snake and a frozen Lily Cole have in common? No, it's not the contents of a lost episode of Skins. Nor is it the XX's Christmas list. It is, rather, just a few of the details that make up Clean Bandit, a new four-piece that in their playfulness and willingness to trample over musical boundaries offer a refreshing new direction for dance music in 2013.
Forget your rock revivalists or your retrofitted soul crooners, Clean Bandit could not have emerged at any time other than now. Comprised of brothers Jack and Luke Patterson alongside the classically-trained pair of Grace Chatto and Neil Amin-Smith, the group formed in 2008. One night, in the dingy confines of a Cambridge nightclub, classic music met bass music, and it never looked back.
Björn Again

Björn Again is a tribute show to the Swedish pop group ABBA founded in 1988 in Australia, but now involving multiple touring troupes performing under the Björn Again name. The show takes its name from Björn Ulvaeus, a member of ABBA, and a pun on the phrase "born again".

James Bay

Riding the success of platinum single "Hold Back the River," his 2015 debut Chaos and the Calm was a breakthrough, soaring to number one in the U.K. and landing in the Top Ten across Europe and Australasia. Incorporating fresh flair, he issued sophomore effort Electric Light in 2018. An EP, Oh My Messy Mind, arrived in 2019 featuring "Peer Pressure" with Julia Michaels, and was followed by non-album singles like "Chew on My Heart" and "Give Me the Reason."
