Windsor Racecourse
This historic course on the banks of the River Thames is home to one of only two figure-of-eight courses in Britain. Royal connections with racing in the area date back to Henry VII while the first recorded race at Royal Windsor took place in 1866. Boasting a full calendar including regular Monday night events and the August Stakes, Leisure Stakes, Midsummer Stakes, Royal Windsor Stakes and Winter Hill Stakes.
The venue is also available for conferences and weddings.
The course is within easy walking distance of both Windsor & Eton Central and Windsor & Eton Riverside train stations. A river taxi service on race days, from Barry Avenue Promenade in Windsor Town centre, takes approximately ten minutes.
