Fred Zeppelin

9 May 2025 - 28 Nov 2025

RAW PROMOTIONS are proud to present the UK's best Led Zeppelin tribute band and one of the most popular tribute bands to play at the Flowerpot .......... FRED ZEPPELIN. During their time together they have had the honour of Led Zeppelin's front-man Robert Plant attending three of their gigs and John Bonham's son Jason even jammed with them on stage. These things the band are very proud of. It must surely also be the best recommendation any band could receive, and also assure any Led Zeppelin fans apprehensive about seeing The Fredz. According to one of Kerrang's readers polls. FRED ZEPPELIN are among the top ten best live bands to see. Quite an achievement, as they were the only tribute band listed in any category. Its worth taking a camera with you, as you don't know who could be standing next to you. In the audience have been MAGNUM's front-man Bob Catley, WHITESNAKE's guitarist Mel Galley. Roy Wood legendary main man of THE MOVE & WIZZARD, and SLADES Jimmy Lea was the latest rock celebrity to experience a two-hour Fred Zeppelin gig. Fred Zeppelin were invited by Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page to attend a charity event of which Jimmy is a patron. Kev (bass) and Blackie (drums) attended and were thrilled to meet and chat with the legendary guitarist. Also at the party were Roger Daltrey, Julian Lloyd Webber, Leo Sayer and Formula One's David Coultard. What a night !! Fred Zeppelin are real fans and formed 'The Freds' out of their admiration ]and love of Led Zeppelin's music. As their name the band do not take themselves too seriously, they know the praise belongs to Robert, Jimmy, John Paul Jones, and Bonzo. The latest chapter now begins in the Fred Zeppelin story. In their 21st year the band has a new line up. Steven Gale is still on vocals and Blackie remains on drums, but founding member guitarist Keith Jenkins has decided to call it a day. The band are still great mates and wish him all the best. However The Fredz have to move on. Elliot Gavin has taken over the role of guitarist and Mark Cresswell has been recruited on bass duties. They will continue with their tradition of honouring the music of Led Zeppelin.......

The Leylines

The Leylines

30 Aug 2025 - 4 Oct 2025

British folk-punk for a summer's afternoon, a sound forged in festivals and bonfires, with fiddle-driven rabble rousers and songs that stir the soul. The Leylines was started by a group of West Country musicians driving home from a session at the legendary Sawmills Studios. Levelling The Land by The Levellers was on the car stereo. Something about the sound of the record, the rolling Cornwall landscapes and the smell of summer connected in writer and vocalist Steve's head.Steve, a product of council estates and stints in the Army, put his observations on the state of the nation into music and started writing. Adding the different musical backgrounds of band mates Matt (Guitar), Pete (Bass), Dave (Drums) and Hannah (Violin), The Leylines have created a style that combines the acerbic social commentary of the Mod and Punk eras, and a folk-rock vibe that will send you right back to those long, hazy festival days. The band saying is: If you wouldn't go out and have drink with someone, don't work with them. With a fiercely loyal and ever-growing fanbase, The Leylines guaranteed to have their audiences up on their feet and they will be having as much fun as their audience while they're doing it!
Bad Manners

Bad Manners

22 May 2025 - 30 Jan 2026

Fronted by Buster Bloodvessel (born Douglas Trendle), the band was formed in 1976 while the members were at school together, and among their early incarnations were known as Stoop Solo and the Sheet Starchers. None of the members had any formal musical training, not even the ability to play any instruments. They were popular during the late 1970s and early 1980s, a period when lots of similar ska bands filled the charts. Some of their hits include 'My Girl Lollipop', 'Lip Up Fatty', 'Special Brew' and 'Ne-Ne-Na-Na-Na-Na-Nu-Nu'. One of the main reasons for their notoriety was because of their outlandish, larger-than-life, huge-tongued & shaven-headed front man. Buster´s exploits got them banned from the British TV chart show Top of the Pops (which included dressing as Henry VIII and singing to a blow-up doll for the song 'Lorraine', pouring a large can of baked beans over his head, and dressing in a can-can dancer´s dress to promote their single 'Can-Can').

Gamma Rave

18 May 2025 - 18 May 2025

Gamma Rave: Electrifying the Live Scene with a Fusion of Electronica and Punk Vibes! Live electronica is Gamma Rave's basic mission statement, the latest project from Will Harwood (Gadje Scum), Sanne Werkers (Brazzmatazz, Den Hoed Music), Jonas Nyaarr (Idealus Maximus, GoToEleven) and Geert de Waegeneer (Thou, BOMA Studio). The group aims to bring dance-floor-filling electronic dance music to the live circuit, taking a fresh approach to the genre by combining the synthetic tones of electronica with the more raw style of punk. If anything, the band is as much live as they are electronic, with a dynamic sound that is constantly shifting in style and mood. Songs often fade in on a sinister trip-hop groove, before flowing into a hip-hop flavoured build, and then finally breaking out into a screaming Drum & Bass climax. A healthy dose of dub, dubstep, rock, and techno, also helps to keep the songs fresh and surprising. Having shared stages with the likes of Asian Dub Foundation, Moon Hooch and Dub Pistols, as well as having played a closing set at the Gentse Feesten and multiple tours of the UK (including the prestigious Boomtown Fair), Gamma Rave has all the makings of a dance-floor shaking spectacle.
