Pontefract racecourse host 16 race meetings each session including three Sunday, three evening and ten midweek afternoon meetings. Theme days include an annual Ladies Day and Family Sunday's featuring a circus, kids rides, pony rides, face painting and a marching band. Pontefract Racecourse is situated just half a mile from Junction 32 of the M62 and links with the A1, M1 and M18 are all within ten miles of the Racecourse.
