The Pitchcroft site, on the banks of the River Severn, has hosted race meetings since 1718. Flat racing was discontinued in 1966 but National Hunt events run between May and Oct. With restaurants, private suites and marquees Worcester offers a number of hospitality, corporate, conference and wedding options. Follow A449, A443 or A44 to the city centre, both offer good access to the city centre then follow the brown racecourse signs. There are also two rail stations within walking distance: Worcester Foregate Station (ten minutes) and Worcester Shrubhill Station (20 minutes).
