The husband & wife duo bring an infectious mix of heavenly vocals, lush harmonies and driving rhythmic guitars. Comprising Debs Hanna (Vocals, Whistle, Piano Accordion) and Stu Hanna (Guitar, Mandola, Banjo) Megson have gained fame on the British folk scene, not only for their arresting & intelligent songwriting, but for their exquisite musicianship and northern humour. "Chopped Liver & Unions" is a theatrical production that highlights the life and struggles of Sara Wesker, a significant yet often overlooked figure in the labor movement of the early 20th century. The play combines music and narrative to depict Wesker's activism, particularly her role in leading the "singing strikers" of 1928, who protested for better working conditions and equal pay for women in the East End of London. PUZZLE HOUSE PANTOMIMES present a traditional family pantomime based on the story of Red Riding Hood. It is fifty years since Granny Smith led the chase to turn the evil wolf pack out of Longfern Wood. Now, after all this time, the leader of the pack is back! He is determined to seek revenge on Granny Smith’s beautiful granddaughter Rose, known to everyone as Red Riding Hood. Squire Cheatem and his useless helpers, Meddle and Muddle, are also up to no good, so Red Riding Hood will need some help. The audience can help her, by joining in with some songs and solving some puzzles on the way! Six actors play a range of characters in a show full of songs, live keyboard music, thrills, spills and fun! There are two acts, plus a short interval.
