30 May 2025 - 28 Nov 2025

On 23rd January 2024 I was diagnosed as being neurodivergent which was kind of a surprise to me, funny enough, not to anyone that knows me. Although surprising this pretty much answered my full life and why I am the way I am. So come join me in a show where I’ll give you a 1st hand insight from my delusional eyes to what goes on in my ever expanding mind with stories of how I’ve manage to survive through a life of total confusement to how and why I now prefer to be alone, mostly!
Bleak Expectations by Mark Evans

Bleak Expectations by Mark Evans

16 Jun 2025 - 21 Jun 2025

Based on the award-winning BBC Radio 4 series and described as "the story Dickens might have written if he'd had too much gin", Mark Evans' stage play is an hilarious, comic caper featuring dastardly villains, preposterous names, incredible duels, several violent deaths and definitely (probably) maybe a happy ending? Follow half orphan Pip Bin's extraordinary exploits with sisters Pippa and Poppy and best friend Harry Biscuit, as they attempt to foil Mr Gently Benevolent's dastardly scheme to steal their inheritance. An adventure ripped straight out of a Dickens' classic and given a Monty Python-esque twist.
Double Bill: Blue Remembered Hills/Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons
'Blue Remembered Hills' by Dennis Potter It's a hot summer's day in 1943 and seven children play, laugh, sing and cry somewhere in the woods just before tea-time. In a whirl of constant activity, their lives are brim-full of joy and horror, anxiety and delight. Dennis Potter's affectionate study captures the traumas of childhood beneath the apparently innocent surface. He reminds us that adults are children who have simply substituted subtlety for spontaneity. That rose-tinted nostalgia for the 'blue remembered hills' of our youth is not always justified. 'Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons' by Sam Steiner The average person will speak 123,205,750 words in a lifetime. But what if there was a limit? This play imagines a world where we are forced to say less. Sam Steiner tells the story of Bernadette and Oliver, a young couple trying to come to grips with a society that has imposed a limit in which each person is only allowed to use up to 140 words in a single day.
It's a Wonderful Life'adapted by Mary Elliott Nelson
This beloved film classic, now adapted for the stage, tells the inspiring story of George Bailey who has spent his life giving to others at the expense of his own dreams. On a dark Christmas Eve, facing financial ruin and self doubt, when all seems lost, he considers ending it all - until a guardian angel shows him what life would have been like for his family, friends and community if he had never existed. George discovers the profound effects of his kindness and the difference his life has made to so many people. This is a story of hope, redemption and the enduring power of love. It reminds us all that each life touches so many others in ways we may never know. Perfect for all ages, 'It's a Wonderful Life' is a celebration of the human spirit and the difference one person can make.

2 Jul 2025 - 5 Jul 2025

The Little Sisters of Hoboken make a triumphant return to Hebden Bridge. This time round, they're not on the set of Grease (farewell to Rydell High) but another venue has been found. The ups and downs of a Sister's life provide comedy gold, and the singing is - well - quite divine, darling! The production is in the capable hands of Steve Tetlow, choreography is with Janet Fletcher, and the musical director is Graham Robbins. A team of the highest experience, who can guarantee a great show.
Last Dance on the Riviera by Chris Berry
'Last Dance on the Riviera' is the first of several plays from Chris Berry Theatre. The story opens with the marriage of David and Heloise Talbot in 1912, then jumps forward to the glitzy Cote d'Azur in 1934. David is caught between British and other spy agencies as they attempt to outwit each other, sowing the seeds that will eventually lead to World War Two. As loyalties shift and battle lines are drawn, David has to decide who can be trusted when a ghost from his past threatens everything he has believed. 'This will end in hurt and death. These things always do'.
