After the Kelvin studio theatre has been damaged by a fire, the company decides to raise funds for the rebuild by inviting a group of journalists and influencers to spend the night in their haunted building. As they sit around the campfire sharing spooky tales, they begin to realise something sinister is stalking them from the shadows This is a piece of original theatre wholly devised by members of the Kelvin Players. Its the same text, the same forbidden love, the same tragedy, but with a fresh new twist. Expect a retro feel set in a liminal space, not quite the past but not quite the present, and a healthy dose of LGBTQ+ aesthetic influence. What better way to celebrate Pride Month?! An immersive reimagining of An Enemy of the People by Henrik Ibsen. Hero or Enemy, who can actually tell the difference? Everything is going to be fine, better than fine, in fact theres nothing that cant be achieved if everyone just believes a little. Thats what the towns MP, Mick, thinks. In a political drama of hopeful emotion vs scientific fact, Tory MP Mick Powell campaigns to bring investment from a fracking company. When his adopted sister Rhiannon Powell GP discovers the water table has been poisoned, their old sibling rivalry plays out in the court of public opinion, with Mike's daughter Hannah, local farmer Patrick on whose land the fracking takes place and newspaper editor Elin sucked into their family psychodrama.
