The Archway Theatre is a thriving 'little theatre' located under the railway arches in Horley, near Gatwick. - 95 seats accommodation. - 10 full productions every year. - 10 Performances over a two-week run. - Youth Workshops and Young Adults Workshop & productions. - Studio Theatre and Function Room. We pride ourselves on a professional approach, and we are rather ambitious with some of our productions. We try all aspects of theatre, from musicals through drama to pantomime. We are a club, so members can buy tickets, take advantage of the youth workshop facilities, and visit the members’ bar. Those wishing to go on stage or backstage are members of the company, who put on all the shows.

Echoes Devised by the Archway Youth Workshop June 18th - 21st We are excited to bring another original production from our wonderful Youth Workshop. Echoes will explore issues facing youngsters at home and at school. This piece is particularly exciting as it will evolve with the workshoppers input. Featuring elements from their workshops including, improvisation, scripted scenes, plus showcasing their dramatic skills, characterisation and energetic enthusiasm! Young adults taking to the main stage. We are delighted that our young adults will be taking to the main stage this year to bring you an exciting production of this play, which grapples with issues arising from adolescent mental health, and the rage within. Told from the perspective of a teenager, with support from a flexible cast comprising various characters, the play considers how people cope when their inner feelings take unexpected forms. Written specifically with young casts in mind, this play was first performed in 2021,and went on to win best play for young audiences at the Writers Guild of Great Britain Awards 2023. This should be a very exciting piece of theatre, and tickets are likely to sell fast.

Who? What? When? Where? How!? Who? What? When? Where? How!? Just some of the questions that arise when six seemingly random guests appear at a stately home for an evening of awkward pleasantries, light entertainment and, oh yes, a murder! Clue has been featured both on stage and screen and will now be brought to the Archway audience who are asked to sleuth their way through the rogues gallery. With multiple possible endings, which one will you see, who did it, and why? How many shots were fired? Can you guess before the big reveal? Perhaps the butler did it after all you will have to come to find out! Multiple Endings In tribute to the multiple endings which were screened across cinemas for the film version of Clue, this play will have three different endings which will be performed on different dates. Come and Join a fun and friendly room of live music lovers in the wonderful Archway Theatre Studio - Its like the Cavern Club- but in Horley ! On the 4th July we are joined by: MY GIRL THE RIVER Kris Wilkinson Hughes aka My Girl the River is a Louisiana native who is now based in the UK after a decade of songwriting in Nashville. She has recently released her third album, Songs About Space, to strong critical acclaim. As a performer, she is funny, warm and fearless with a sackful of hook laden Americana/roots songs and a voice of sweet sugared espresso. You might find yourself singing along or shedding a tear on your journey. Love, loss, Louisiana and Hot Chicken are just some of the stops along the way. MGTRs first two albums This Aint No Fairytale and Cardinal in the Snow received critical acclaim gaining 8/10 from Paste Magazine and 8/10 from Americana-UK, to name a couple. Their third and most recent album Songs About Space, brought together a collection of songs not a perfection of songs - Kris says these songs represent a unique situation, most of them recorded at home with different outcomes, this isnt a week in the studio full band jam. These are songs that mean something to me personally, recorded over the last few years and deserve their day in the sun.
