Curzon Bloomsbury

This is a six screen Curzon which has undergone a major refurbishment (re-opened in spring 2015) with Sony 4K projectors and Dolby Atmos sound systems. The redesign of Curzon Bloomsbury was completed by architect Takero Shimazaki who acknowledged the influence of filmmakers Peter Greenaway and Andrei Tarkovsky. The new furniture was designed by Eileen Gray. This cinema, previously called the Renoir, hosts many premieres of Artificial Eye movies. Russel Square is the nearest tube, and buses 7, 59, 68, 91, 168, 188 pass nearby.
