The Elvis Years is an outstanding musical production which brings to the stage the incredible and compelling story of the ‘king of rock and roll’. With a top line-up of actor-musicians, multiple costume changes and nostalgic film footage, this glittering two-hour production charts the musical and emotional highs and lows of Elvis’ amazing journey from poor truck-driving teenager from Tupelo, Mississippi through the army, Hollywood and finally the legendary Las Vegas concerts. Man the Lifeboats

Man the Lifeboats

12 Sept 2025 - 12 Sept 2025

From full-throttle folk flings to darker ruminations, traditional instrumentals to tender ballads, and (of course) an obligatory ranting protest song or three, Man The Lifeboats got together in 2016 with a view to deliver a tonic for these troubled times. The sound blazes bright with its incendiary violins, glowing accordions and profound lyricism that will warm even the coldest of souls, managing to feel fun and modern, without losing sight of the more traditional aspects of the folk genre. Their music is evocative of the Pogues, the Levellers and Frank Turner, all self-professed influences, and even New Order, in that they can pair ennui-riddled politically-charged lyrics with tunes that demand to be danced to. They might not be able to write a happy ending to this wasted life as frontman Rich Quarterman sings, but they can write a relentless hook to go with a pint in the meantime. Man The Lifeboats really are one of the live sensations on the folk scene at the moment. Dont miss them!

Steve Knightley

Steve Knightley

5 Nov 2025 - 16 Nov 2025

As a long-serving troubadour of the folk and acoustic music scene, master songwriter and storyteller Steve Knightley has spent much of his life on the road, collecting songs, stories, anecdotes and observations with the odd disaster along the way. Best known for his work with the award-winning acoustic roots group Show of Hands, Steve has performed in venues from the Albert Hole in Bristol to the Albert Hall in London. His impressive back catalogue of songs are modern classics, still filling the folk clubs and festival fields, and forever influencing the next generation of folk artists. Steve says, 'A life on the road certainly has its challenges, but I can't say I'd do it differently if I had to start all over again. The format of 'Songs and Stories', and now 'Roadworks' allows me to share the stories I've collected over the years, along with plenty of observations along the way. It's just me, a radio mic and a couple of guitars which is daunting and liberating in equal measures, and it's enabled me to build elements into my shows which I've never been able to before.'
