Hemel Hempstead/Berkhamsted Rock Choir
If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes! Your local Hemel Hempstead choir is run by vocal coach Liz Shea. Our UK top twenty album gave ordinary people the chance to become chart-topping singers, and Rock Choir is continually giving our members bigger and better opportunities to achieve things they never thought they could do - from supporting national charities like Sign2sing, British Airways Flying Start and the Moonwalk to singing at the UK's top performing arts venues such as the Royal Albert Hall. But through all this excitement, we never lose track of our local community roots. Visit this link https://rockchoir.com/events-and-performances-near-you to see more about our activities in Hertfordshire. You've probably heard us singing in and around Hertfordshire, or seen one of our many TV appearances, and never thought you'd have to courage to get up on stage and sing! But the unique teaching methods at the Hemel Hempstead Rock Choir, along with no need to audition or read music, mean that we are accessible to all. Come along and try us out for FREE at a taster session, and experience singing with your local 'exceptional' Rock Choir for yourself. Here is a quote about our choir - 'Singing gives a terrific high and is certainly an aid to fighting depression. I look forward to each week with excitement. I just want to spread the word, join Rock Choir if there is one near you. ' - Seana (Rock Choir Member) Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award [https://rockchoir.com/awards-achievements/]. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
And Then There Were None

And Then There Were None

15 May 2025 - 17 May 2025

Ten strangers are invited to Soldier Island, an isolated rock near the Devon coast, but when they arrive, their host, an eccentric millionaire, is nowhere to be found. Cut off from the mainland, all the guests have in common is a wicked past that they are unwilling to reveal and a secret that will seal their fate. When one of the party dies suddenly, they realise that they may be harbouring a murderer in their midst. But which one is behind this deadly deed? Only the dead are above suspicion. Please note that this play contains challenging themes that some audience members may find difficult.
