Manchester Techno Collective is back with celebration: its been a year since weve teamed up to provide you, the ravers, with what we do the best: raves that showcase the best underground local DJs in the heart of Manchester City. This time we have gone above and beyond to invite a special guest: Benji303 UK based Acid/Techno DJ & Producer, you can catch him regularly performing DJ and live sets all over Europe - whether it be a club night, festival or a free party. Constant hard work in the studio for the last 15 years has resulted in hundreds of releases coming out on vinyl and digital on labels such as Stay Up Forever, Hydraulix, Cluster, RAW, Yolk, Choci's Chewns, VCF, Acid Test, Flatlife, Triple A, Skuxx, 303 Alliance, Sonic Iration, Getafix, Hive, Avinit, Interstate One, Stompin' Ground, Teknic, Dirty Sound, Avinit, Planet Techno, Voodoo Projects, NTK, Rebeltek, Interruption, Tikal Sound and many more... His tracks have been played and supported by the likes of Perc, Freddy Fresh, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Chris Liberator, Mark EG, The Geezer, Pet Duo, Aaron Liberator and A.P. to name a few. Benji also runs his own vinyl label 303 Alliance (est. 2014) which is going from strength to strength and is now well into double figures. He also runs a second sub label called Alliance Digital and Finally, a Dub & Reggae infused Acid Techno label - Sonic Iration (with Jah Scoop AKA The Geezer). Joined by our residents: Kazek, RaFFski and TimG, we will set Aatma on fire (not literally). Prepare yourself for a dose of scorching synthesiser sounds and pounding kickdrums and bass.

Manchester its time to bring rap back to its roots! For too long underground rappers turn up to open mics full of indie bands and singers, with no place to showcase their talent. Thats why weve decided to Raise The Bar! Rappers have got 9 minutes to shell it on the mic, impress the crowd and gain the chance to win a paid champion set at our next event. You lot in the crowd, we havent forgot about you! The first 10 people who turn up on the night will be offered the important role of being our judges and play an important part of selecting our next champion! JrodBroccoli will be healdining this months RTB to round out his month of MAYHEM where he is releasing a track on instagram every coupleof dyas for the whole of May! And we cant forget, last months winner Maname will be in the champion slot for her paid set after shutting down the open mic last month And lets not forget, the rap scene would not be the same without our producers so we gotta put them on. Well have some on Manny's top producers sending in some of their hardest beats to be used for the late night DJ cypher with Diligent Fingers where anyone can pick up the mic and spray. £5 on the door! Or, entering into an even darker room (Aatma) for the Molehill's latest line-up of D.I.Y delight? The Molehill invite you to their fourth event of the Aatma residency. This month hosts one of their most eclectic lineups yet. Wet Man believes in lizard men - so should you. The electronic Dadaist headlines the night. Think Soft Cell - if they were one man. And from Sheffield, not Leeds. Main support is OPEN FLY - Manchester's femme-punk phenomena. As loud as they are catchy. And opening the night is MERLO - newcomers with fire in their bellies.
