Andrew Bird

18 Jul 2025 - 19 Jul 2025

After his TV appearance on "The Russell Howard Hour" Andrew supported Russell Howard on his massive national tour including six straight shows at The London Palladium. He has also recently supported Troy Hawke and at The UK Comedy Awards was voted “Comic’s Comic - Best Act”. When asking his 9-year-old son if he is ticklish, he replied “only my mind”. Which is a great way to describe a sense of humour. And lord knows we all need a good tickle in the mind now and then so join Andrew as he finds the funny from “Sports washing” to Spa hotels. Having previously supported Russell at Bristol's Ashton Gate Football stadium he’s also supported Rhod Gilbert, Rob Brydon, America’s Brian Regan and Michelle Wolfe on their only London shows and Michael McIntyre on an entire arena tour including Wembley and the O2. He’s written for the TV shows Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Worrier and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

Diary of a Disappearing Doctor

Diary of a Disappearing Doctor

26 Jul 2025 - 26 Jul 2025

Step into the extraordinary world of The Doctor, a flamboyant Time Lord banished to Earth by the High Council of Gallifrey for his unorthodox ways. Stripped of his TARDIS and forced to live among humans, The Doctor faces the struggles of survival he once only observed.  In this hilarious, heartfelt one-man show, “Diary of a Disappearing Doctor” tells the story of weight loss, career reinvention, and the pursuit of a long-deferred dream.  The Doctor’s toxic Corporate Travel career, stress, and judgment led to obesity, depression, and a crisis of confidence. Luckily, Earth’s drastic medical solutions helped him lose over 6 stones and reignite his passion for the stage.  In May 2024, he left the corporate world behind to pursue his true calling full-time. Through sharp humour, moving confessions, and dazzling musical parodies, “Diary of a Disappearing Doctor” celebrates reinvention and the audacity to start over.  It’s never too late to be brave, bold, and bloody brilliant.  “DOCTOR WOOF, YOU ARE VERY ENTERTAINING. WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU NOT IN THE WEST END ALREADY?” - Sharon Osborne (X-Factor)  “DOCTOR WOOF OFFERS A HEARTWARMING PERFORMANCES OF TORCH SONGS, DOCTORING SOME, TO WEAVE IN HIS OWN STORIES OF HEARTBREAK AND HOPE.” – Audience Club

James Campbell’s Comedy 4 Kids: Reducks
James invented the idea of proper stand-up for children in 2001. Since then he has been travelling the world, bringing high-quality laughter to children in thousands of schools, libraries, theatres, festivals anywhere that will have him really.  For the last ten years he has mainly been concentrating on writing funny books and parenting his own children. But now he is bored of all that and returns to the world of festivals to reboot comedy for kids with a face full of wrinkles and a reconstructed show that may include exploding penguins; seventeen ways to eat jam; and songs to sing to the worms in your dog’s bottom.  This show is twice as funny as anything you’ve seen before so cover yourself in glue, roll around in glitter for five minutes and then come to the show shouting, “I’m a massive disco maggot!” until someone asks you to leave.  ★★★★★ "A HIT NOT TO BE MISSED” - Three Weeks  ★★★★★ “I SHOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM SIX STARS – JUST TOO BRILLIANT“ – The Sunday Herald   "THERE WERE CHILDREN LAUGHING SO HARD THEY WERE STRUGGLING TO SIT UP STRAIGHT" - One4Review  "HAS ACHIEVED ALMOST HOLY STATUS - DON'T MISS" - The Sunday Times

Spin-a-Play!

16 Aug 2025 - 16 Aug 2025

Insert Laughter Here presents Spin-a-Play! Returning to the Museum of Comedy in 2025  In this completely improvised and chaotic comedy show, the audience will be invited to suggest genres for a "brand new" play to be made up on the spot by the performers. The genres go on a spinning wheel which is then used to determine which one will be performed. Guests also get to provide suggestions to start the play off with, and throughout the show will be offered opportunities to shape the action as it unfolds, decide whether it goes right or wrong and even choose how it ends!  Will the action hero save the day and get the girl of his dreams, or will he fail and doom himself to a life of mockery? Will the charismatic thief successfully steal the diamond in the heist she has been planning for decades, or will it all go hilariously awry? The possibilities are literally endless when the audience has the power of choice.  “A SORT OF COMEDY WHEEL OF FORTUNE WITH NO SHORTAGE OF FUN AND LAUGHS ALONG THE WAY”- East Anglian Theatre Podcast  Find out more at insertlaughterhere.co.uk [https://www.insertlaughterhere.co.uk/]

Wizard Guide to Saving the World

Wizard Guide to Saving the World

15 Aug 2025 - 16 Aug 2025

The world is not what it was. What we need is a wizard to sort out the mess we’ve made. A legendary wizard who is not afraid of the big issues.  Wizard Guide to Saving the World contains actual magic, love philtres, charms enough to stop wars or climate change, and plenty of stuff about wizards. At heart this new character stand-up is concerned with shifting social attitudes and cultural standards, viewed and skewed through ancient wizard eyes. The forces of evil attack, Merlin slips in and out, and there’s the promise a spellbound singalong.  We know of wizards from our history books, myths & fantasies, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer & Monty Python. Wizard Guide… name drops Gandalf, Dr Strange, Dumbledore, Rincewind and more – wizards are everywhere in our culture. But this isn’t a show for nerds of the arcane (although they won’t feel out of place), it is aimed at an audience who enjoy a blend of left leaning political sensibility and farfetched silliness.  Wizard Guide to Saving the World does what it says on the enchanted vessel. Written and performed by Terry Victor, still recovering from a lengthy rehab in Santa’s “Grotto” "HARSH, FUNNY AND SIMPLY STAGED, GROTTO FEELS LIKE THE SORT OF SHOW THE EDINBURGH FRINGE WAS INVENTED FOR…" ★★★★ - Starburst Magazine
Samantha Day: The Great British Menu (Of Petty Complaints)
Samantha Day is back - with a new comedy game show that treats Britain's most trivial problems with the seriousness that they deserve.  It's always Whine O'Clock in Britain. The weather is too hot. Or too cold or too rainy. Sometimes it gets so bad that we have to go on holiday to complain about another country.  And the people in Britain are awful. Driving too slowly, making grammatical errors and joking about the wrong things.  Britain has never been so divided. And this show could definitely make it worse.  “JUST BRILLIANT“ – Arthur Smith  "HER CONFIDENCE, DELIVERY, MATERIAL AND INTERACTION WITH OUR AUDIENCE WAS ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!!” - Genius Events Leicester Comedy Festival Silver Stand Up Award - Winner (2025)  British Comedy Guide Pro Award - Finalist (2024)  Not So New Comedian of the Year - Finalist (2024)  British Comedian of the Year - Semi Finalist (2024)  Amused Moose Award, Edinburgh Fringe - Shortlisted (2023)  Comedy Store King Gong - Winner (2022)  New Comedian of the Year, Southport Comedy Festival - Winner (2022)  New Comedian of the Year, Leicester Square Theatre - Finalist (2022)

Blinded by Love: Dating Show

5 Jul 2025 - 5 Jul 2025

BLINDED BY LOVE is London’s newest, no-filter dating show where two brave singles—completely blindfolded—go on a date in front of a live audience. It’s part romance, part psychological experiment, and 100% a terrible idea for anyone with commitment issues.  Guiding this romantic chaos? Two Gen-Z uncles who work in the City by day and play Cupid by night (because insider trading in the dating world is way more fun). They’ll roast, interrogate, and maybe even help our contestants find "the one".  The best part? You could be next. If watching this social experiment unfold isn’t thrilling enough, the audience will have the chance to jump in and date one of our contestants. Because, let’s be honest, your love life could use a plot twist.  Come for the cringe, stay for the chemistry. Or the car crash energy. Either way, it’s a show you won’t forget—no matter how hard you try.  PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT WILL BE FILMED.

Ben O’Sullivan: Bermuda Rhombus

Ben O’Sullivan: Bermuda Rhombus

16 Jul 2025 - 16 Jul 2025

BEN O'SULLIVAN is an offbeat comedian whose style is as silly as it is deadpan. Think of him as a deflating bouncy castle (colourful, whimsical, and only slightly full of hot air).  When Ben turned 30 last year, he decided to celebrate by doing the coolest thing he could imagine: getting his ear pierced. But then he started asking himself the big question everyone asks when they reach their 30s:  Am I a narcissist? Or is it just the piercing?  Bermuda Rhombus is an exploration of this internal need for attention. Ben’s musings on the subject cover a lot of ground: from trying to find out why mirrors were invented to questioning if the Great Fire of London was, in fact, bad. Ultimately, Ben will answer the most important question of our time: Is everything about him?  Through Ben's surreal and silly comedic lens, you'll see your own impulses for attention and validation reflected back at you - and you'll laugh at just how absurd it all is.  "A VERY DRY, LAID BACK STYLE OF DELIVERY... Dan has been a data collector for 10 years. You know when they say how much it costs to live somewhere? He's the guy who has to find out. He goes around the world and walks around supermarkets recording the prices of apples/cheese/you name it into his Dictaphone. He's been to every supermarket, in every country, in the world.  This is the story of how. Jessica Aszkenasy: Titclown (workinprogworkinprog)
Titclown (workinprogress) is comedian/clown/tittywoman Jessica Aszkenasy’s debut hour. It’s a mad display of what it’s like to be a woman making art under the patriarchy. Or at least that’s what she hopes it will be by the time she takes the show to Edinburgh. Also, it’s not stand up comedy. Here are some credentials to make you think it might be good:  Having trained at somewhat renowned clown cult/school Ecole Philippe Gaulier where she butted heads with teachers left, right and centre because no-one understood her art, Jessica is ready to dazzle the world with her self importance. The show was birthed in California, at brilliant performance artist Claire Woolner’s theatre Public Displays of Altadena, and put up for its first ever performance at the Elysian Theatre in Los Angeles. Jessica has been performing regularly on the London comedy circuit since 2019, completed a sold-out run at London’s VAULT Festival and had two fairly middling years at the Edinburgh Fringe.

She is proud to serve her close personal friend, the President of the United States. Determined to prove her loyalty by any means necessary, she’s not letting the icky democrats, her ex-boyfriend, or socialism stand in her way. But when this all-American girl next door is forced to choose between the power of female friendship and proving herself as the ultimate guys’ girl, she’s horrified to discover she might be a feminist.  "TRULY REMARKABLE" ★★★★ London Pub Theatres  "BRAVO LEIGH DOUGLAS, BRAVO" ★★★★ Everything Theatre

Mattia Sedda: CHOIN

Mattia Sedda: CHOIN

29 May 2025 - 29 May 2025

“CHOIN, CHOIN!” call the farmers. “CHOIN, CHOIN!” answer the pigs. In Sardinia, it’s how pigs are summoned—direct, no pretence. That raw honesty inspired CHOIN, a bold, ridiculous, and deeply human solo clown show.  Mattia Sedda arrives in London with an empty suitcase, broken English, and a dream: to become a professional actor. But the industry isn’t sure what to make of him. From working restaurant shifts to reciting Hamlet in auditions, CHOIN follows his desperate attempt to fit in, be cast, and belong.  As Mattia performs his “ultimate showcase”—complete with Shakespeare, magic, object play, and physical comedy—what begins as an audition spirals into something far more personal. CHOIN is the hilarious, painful journey of an outsider who tries everything to be someone else, only to discover freedom in embracing who he already is.  Blending clowning, absurdity, and nostalgia, CHOIN explores migration, identity, rejection, and joy—with a pig call at its heart.  Named by Chortle as one of “10 CLOWNS TO SEE AT THE 2024 EDINBURGH FRINGE,” CHOIN is as honest and unpredictable as the call that inspired it.
Wit Happens: The Comedy Magic of Katherine Rhodes

Watch as the laws of physics are cast aside, the impossible is made a reality and your sides split from laughing (not literally!). CLASS ACT. FUNNY TOO!” - Marc Almond  “SO GOOD I THINK MAGIC MIGHT ACTUALLY EXIST” - Heather Peace  Katherine will be joined by the incredible magician Ian Rowland who puts the ‘Ian’ into ‘magician’. Rumours he puts the ‘missed‘ into ‘mystery’ are unfair and untrue. A list of clients that includes Google, Coca-Cola, the British Olympic Team and even the FBI (no kidding!) he will be bringing his special brand of fun just for you.

She's not just "another survivor"; she's a fearless powerhouse embracing the parts of CF that others might shy away from talking about – especially mucus! This stand-up show promises an unapologetic, hilarious take on life, where Yvonne navigates her 50s, transforming from someone barely surviving to fully thriving.  “SO, SO FUNNY” - The Stand Comedy Club  “YVONNE IS FEARLESS AND GENUINE IN HER PERFORMANCE”   Semi-finalist in Not So New Comedian of the Year 2025   As featured in The Guardian How We Survive Series If you cannot get to the Fringe to see this highly anticipated show then now is your only chance to see it in London.

Giovana Fagundes: Orgulho do Papai

24 Jun 2025 - 24 Jun 2025

Jessica Regan: 16 Postcodes

4 Jun 2025 - 2 Jul 2025

On the first Wednesday of June and July at The Museum of Comedy you can see Jessica Regan’s joyful, poignant Edinburgh Fringe sell-out smash 16 POSTCODES, a journey through an impenetrable city with an all-too-open heart.  Described by Lyn Gardner as a born storyteller, Regan shares lessons lived and learned from a life in no particular order. Each show is drawn from true tales of love and landlords, of mice and men and more, told with help from the audience who will play their part in shaping her odyssey as she moves North, South, East and West, finding out which is best. While these different abodes reflect uncertainty and struggle, they also promise adventure and discovery; each postcode holds a defining experience in some shape or form – be it funny, sad, or dramatic. Where will she go? How does this end? Regan is curious about that herself…  You'll laugh, you'll cry, you’ll rent… cos you can't afford to buy. Jessica is known for her award-winning work on the BBC’s Doctors, alongside her extensive theatre, audio and television career (Ill Behaviour, Call The Midwife, Peep Show). Jessica is a regular contributor for hit podcast The Guilty Feminist.  ★★★★ "THE CITY’S HOUSING CRISIS SHOWS UP ALL THE MORE STARKLY FOR REGAN’S LIGHTNESS OF TOUCH AS SHE SHOWS HOW SIMPLICITY CAN HOUSE COMPLEXITY" - Financial Times ★★★★ "A DELIGHTFUL HOUR OF THEATRE" - The Scotsman
Lizzie Simpson: Should Statements: A (WIP) Show Brought To You By (a little) Inherited Wealth
In 2023, like a Dickensian protagonist, BBC Shortlisted comedian Lizzie Simpson lost her beloved uncle aged 69 to ass cancer. Leaving behind paper towels, many a spicy VHS and a flat on the outskirts of the capital, Lizzie found herself with £20,000 and a dream. SHOULD she invest in her future? Absolutely not! A fringe show it is!  After years of toiling the London open mic scene, finally with the means to bring her vision to the unsuspecting public, this chronic oversharer with a dry yet likeable edge asks whether her uncle's retirement fund is being put to good use. Exploring heritage, catholic guilt (without the Catholicism), body issues and butt stuff, this modern woman will make you think, laugh and shit your pants.  Hailing from the land of dreams, Milton Keynes, Lizzie is a 2x Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Semi-Finalist, a West End New Act of the Year Finalist 2024, a Funny Woman Stage Award Nominee 2023, a Chortle Student Comedy Award Semi-Finalist and a WINNER in your mum’s pants. “ORIGINAL AND GENUINELY FUNNY” – Matt Reed  “LIZZIE CATCHES EVERYONE BY SURPRISE, SUCH A LIKEABLE STAGE PRESENCE” - The Stand Comedy Club, Newcastle

Before Fame OR: What not to do when you discover one of the world’s greatest pop duos in a village hall
Before Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, before the sold-out stadiums, and before superstardom, George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley were just two 17-year-olds with big dreams.  “FUNNY STORIES FROM THE MAN WHO (ALMOST) MANAGED WHAM! A SURPRISINGLY POIGNANT CELEBRATION.” - The Times  ★★★★ In 1979, Michael Burdett spotted their potential and took them into the studio to record their first songs. But there was a twist – at this point they were the two singers in a ska band. That plan didn’t work out, but what happened next changed pop history forever.  Now, in this funny, surprising, and uplifting solo show, Edinburgh award-winner Michael Burdett takes you behind the scenes of Wham!’s meteoric rise – from early rejections to global fame, selling over 30 million records. And 40 years later, Burdett travelled to every county in the UK photographing strangers listening to the recording on headphones. Could they guess who they were listening to?  Told with wit, warmth, and a healthy dose of self-deprecating humour, Before Fame is the story of, In Michael’s words, two musical geniuses and an idiot. (Spoiler alert: Michael’s the idiot.)  If you like Wham! or enjoy the early travelogue adventures of Dave Gorman, or you just want to hear James Acaster read George and Andrew’s first rejection letter this is the show for you.

Lilla Multipass: Woman(33) WIP

7 Aug 2025 - 7 Aug 2025

Woman (33) has an aesthetically pleasing kitchen, a 5-star Airbnb rating, and an inkling that her life is one size too small.  Brought to you by Lilla Multipass (“HAS BONES MADE FROM PURE FUN” - Morning Star), this absurdist take on the Millennial Dream will 100% change your life.  How?  Because Woman (33) is not just a character but also a vibe. She represents your desk job-induced quarter-life crisis and your self-ridicule in moments when you fail to be a good millennial. She embodies the self-growth that comes from a nurturing WhatsApp group and staying in on a Friday night. She's the good, the bad, and the self-aware. In short, if you have a bag of tote bags at home or you enjoy your comedy a little existential, then this show is for you.  Oh! And it’s cheaper than therapy. Doing therapy is cool, though.
