Sam See's Got An Hour for 2026 - A Work-In-Progress Show
Sam's got a WIP stand-up comedy show for 2026! That's a whole year before the major festivals! Is it because Sam is such a prolific writer of amazing and brilliant comedy Or is it because he had created a show about politics that is UNSELLABLE in our current climate, so now he's panicking and quickly pivoting YOU DECIDE! It's an hour about being new in the UK, understanding what it's like being a minority, an immigrant, and being someone who has to survive Wagamamas. Surely a show that right-winged audience members will take in good spirit and not protest or cancel. Oh please don't do that, I'd hate to have major news articles about me. For fans of Sam's stuff: NOPE. This isn't his normal stuff. This is just your classic hour of stand-up comedy! No scientific papers, no stats or graphs, no slideshows, no heartfelt messages or sob story at the 40 minute mark, just comedy that you will laugh at and will eventually forget! Hey, Sam's gotta afford rent, he's gotta make something for the general market now and again. No refunds. Unless you ask really politely. Then I will decline you really politely.

Host Leslie Gold and panellists Mitch Benn, Adam Larter and Sophie Sconcia present ideas to improve the world at large. Imagine the opposite of Room 101, adding good stuff instead of banishing bad (in theory anyway). Whether the rules are adopted is down to an audience vote. There's no way of knowing what bonkers ideas the panel (and audience) will come up with - the only actual guarantee is that hilarity will ensue. Basically, it's an excuse for bants with a view of making the world a better place! This new panel show is already a hit with audiences who have loved the banter, the positivity, the surprising dark turns a rule can sometimes take - and of course when Horny the horn gets involved. 101 Rules is launching as a podcast later this year - get involved from the start!

BLÁNID and Jennifer Lee Ridley

BLÁNID and Jennifer Lee Ridley

17 Aug 2025 - 17 Aug 2025

“completely captivating” - Sian Eleri Evans, BBC Radio 1 BLÁNID’s hauntingly powerful voice and confessional, folk-infused songwriting style have been causing a stir in her native Ireland and beyond. With a distinctive songwriting style and a voice that demands to be heard, Irish singer-songwriter BLÁNID has been recognised as a rising talent industry-wide across the UK and Ireland. She has garnered plays on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, RTÉ Radio 1 and more; TV appearances on RTÉ 1’s The Late Late Show, All Arts TV & PBS; and featured vocalist slots on both Netflix’s ‘The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf’, and ‘Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin’ video game. Fresh off her 2023 UK tour with American folk icon Judy Collins, BLÁNID shows no signs of slowing down. She made her solo debut on RTÉ TV 1’s Fingal Sessions earlier this year, and was hand-selected by the Ivors Academy for both an International Women’s Day performance & YouTube Music songwriting camp. With a wealth of new music to release this year, BLÁNID is “well on her way to stardom” (Earmilk). Emotive songstress, Jennifer Lee Ridley passionately uses influences of a Romantic folk nature to create poignant and touching music. She has studied in depth the poetic nature of song and has a strong affinity with writers such as William Shakespeare, John Keats and William Blake. More recently she has combined these influences with her own song-writing to create more modern fusions whilst carefully retaining the purity of the lyrical content. Her dark warm vocals combined with her individual folk sound mirrors the poetic lyrics which explore the many facets of emotions. This has had a profound effect on her own songs which she continues to develop and enhance through working with other composers, musicians and writers locally and in London. She feels strongly that collaborating is an important part of growing and building an understanding of the nature and the impact of poetry and prose on music.
