Since winning Acoustic magazine's 2010 Singer Songwriter of the year, nu / anti-folk artist Gaz Brookfield has spent his time on the road, touring the UK and Europe. He has shared the stage with the likes of Levellers, Seth Lakeman, Frank Turner, New Model Army, Nick Harper, Newton Faulkner, Miles Hunt, and many more. His songs are instantly accessible, everyman tales of life, love and everything else in between. He has so far released four albums the latest being 2016's "I Know My Place".

After two separate successful UK tours in 2024, of which the undoubted highlight was Ali's phenomenal Hackney Empire show (which Michael deftly supported), Edinburgh Fringe 2022 flatmates and friends are back in the lab preparing for their subsequent tours. Golden Shoals is a fiddle and guitar duo with a rousing old-time-style music that's fueled by acerbic modern-day wit (-No Depression Magazine). They are no strangers to traditional music, having placed in contests including Clifftop (3rd place 2023, 4th place 2022), Mount Airy, The Grand Masters Fiddlers Championship and Galax. Often switching instruments between fiddle, two guitars, and banjo, their original songs have been compared to Gillian Welch, with the added edge of instrumental prowess informed by energetic old time and bluegrass recordings.

Bal de Bourdon is a London-based band performing music from France, the Channel Islands and Cornwall, with a penchant for songs rich in melody, harmony and drama. Their repertoire includes traditional music from Brittany and other French regions, and some rare and little-known songs from Cornwall and the Channel Islands all sung in the original languages but with engaging new arrangements and rich vocal harmonies.
