Adelphi Theatre

The Adelphi Theatre of today is the fourth of that name to stand on the site, having been designed in 1930 in the Art Deco style by Ernest Schaufelberg; the original Adelphi was built as long ago as 1806. Currently co-owned by the Really Useful Theatres Group and the giant Nederlander Organisation, it's one of the West End's main receiving houses for comedies and musicals. The nearest Tube stations are Covent Garden (Piccadilly) and Charing Cross/Embankment (District, Circle, Northern and Bakerloo). There are car parks in Chinatown and Trafalgar Square.
