Richard Rozze is an accomplished electric and acoustic guitarist, vocalist, composer, and arranger. Influenced by classic British rock, blues, jazz, Celtic, and bluegrass, Richard holds a Masters in Jazz and draws inspiration from legends like Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, and Pat Metheny. He explores acoustic roots music with the group Open Water, showcasing his songwriting and multi-instrumental talents on Dobro, tenor banjo, and mandolin. His guitar work has drawn comparisons to Peter Green and Eric Johnson, while his vocals echo Nick Drake and Jackson Browne. Richards jazz-inspired debut album Learning to Fly (2014) earned praise, with his version of Wichita Lineman featured on BBC Radio 3. An evening with frontman of the Happy Mondays. This is a fascinating insight into life in one of the UK's most loved bands. Shaun Ryder is from Salford, Greater Manchester, where in 1980 he formed Happy Mondays. The band signed to Factory Records and their releases included the two classic albums 'Bummed' in 1988 followed by 'Pills 'n' Thrills and Bellyaches' in 1990. Later Shaun started Black Grape releasing the album 'It's Great When You're Straight.. Yeah'. Following his achievements with both bands he received the 'Godlike Genius Award' from NME in 2000. Shaun also moved into TV taking part in the tenth series of the TV show 'I'm a Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here!' in 2010 where he was runner up. He also went on to have his own TV programme 'Shaun Ryder on UFOs' on The History Channel in 2013. Shaun has recently been a guest on several TV shows including 'Room 101' with Frank Skinner, 'Stars and Their Cars' with Paddy McGuinness, 'The Chase: Celebrity Special' with Bradley Walsh, 'Sam Delaney's News Thing, This Morning and 'Big Star's Little Star'.

When, years ago, a teenage Mitch discovered American comic songwriting legend Tom Lehrer, the course of his life was changed forever. Mitch looks at the legacy of the elusive Lehrer, the creative debt owed to him by all those who mix humour and melody, and performs some of the more Lehreresque of his own songs. Since Mr Lehrer (at time of writing, still slogging obstinately along at the age of 97) recently placed his entire catalogue in public domain, expect a few Mitch Benn-ified covers of some of Tom's most famous creations as well.

Comedy Lock-In is a monthly comedy club run by Ribs Norman, showcasing the best up-and-coming acts from the UK circuit, along with more established acts trying out new material. The night is hosted by our resident MC, Mel Bryon. You can expect 4-6 acts doing around 10 minutes of material each. All the acts have been hand-picked by Ribs.
