Peat & Diesel

Peat & Diesel

16 Oct 2025 - 6 Dec 2025

The story began when three Stornoway Cove's (Innes, Uilly and Boydie) met up in the house to have the craic on a Saturday night playing music with just the dog and the cat watching. After a few tunes getting thrown across the room Boydie stated muttering a few sentences. As he is a man of few words no attention was really given to him until he shouted 'Quick, line me out!' Not a second to spare a set of old broken headphones were cable tied to a guitar amp and out came a few cobwebs followed shortly after with a sound nobody had ever heard before. What came next was five gallons of lyrics, verse after verse, song after song Peat & Diesel was born! The songs won't make much sense to the average person, but the person behind the lyrics isn't your average man so if you have a listen and you can relate to it you are a special breed! Peat & Diesel Light my Byre takes you on a journey to the heart of the Western Isles, where #peatlemania was born. You might have time for a brandy in the 'Airidh' but don't miss your ride in Calum Dan's Transit Van, we ain't stopping till we lose the water!

Stop the Clocks, Oasis Tribute Band & Ocean Colour Scheme
Come along and celebrate two fantastic Oasis albums with plenty of other classic tracks flung in for good measure. Released 30 years ago in October, 1995, 'What's the Story' was the album that propelled Oasis from being a good British indie rock band in to a worldwide phenomenon. Spending 10 weeks at number 1 in the British charts and spawning instantly recognisable tracks such as "Wonderwall", "Don't Look Back In Anger", "Some Might Say", "Roll With It" and "Champagne Supernova", this was a career defining moment in the bands history, selling over 22 million copies! 'Don't Believe The Truth' was Oasis's 6th studio album. Widely recognised as their greatest album since the success of 'What's The Story' nearly 10 years prior to its release on 30th May 2005. This was an album that Noel Gallagher said was his favourite since What's The Story due to all of the band members contributing to the song writing. Released to critical acclaim, it produced such memorable singles such as "Lyla", "The Importance of Being Idle" and "let There Be Love" This will be a fantastic evening for anyone who loves the band, or the Indie/ Britpop era as Stop The Clocks will be supported by the ever impressive Ocean Colour Scheme who will be doing a greatest hits collection form, you guessed it... Ocean Colour Scene. The Birmingham band, who were formed back in 1989, have had 5 top 10 albums, including 1996's instant classic 'Moseley Shoals' and number 1 album 'Marchin Already'. Inevitably getting their big break after supporting Oasis in 1995 after Noel Gallagher heard one of their demo tapes and inviting them on tour.
