Comedy and jazz have always shared a mischievous heartbeat. From the smoky clubs of the 1940s where standups riffed between bebop sets to the latenight TV era where house bands punctuated punchlines, the two art forms have grown up side by side. Both rely on sharp timing, fearless improvisation and the thrill of live performance. Our Comedy & Jazz Night brings that legacy to the stage. The band wont be hidden away, theyll be right there with the comedians, Tonight Show style, adding musical stings, playful riffs and a live soundtrack that lifts every joke. After the comedy wraps, the musicians take over with a full jazz set, turning the room into a latenight lounge and keeping the energy flowing long after the last punchline.

Our cult night where a motley bunch of comedians compete to win the coveted MUG and 'YOU' the audience and a rubbish decibel meter from TEMU vote to change their life or at least another way to drink their coffee in the morning. “Probably the best Comedy Mug in Brighton, if not the UK” (Chester Freitas - famous reviewer of 'Dank or Jank' on Instagram...and in case you wondered - we are DANK btw). We run the night on a break even basis, for the love of comedy, and our ticket sales go to paying professional comedians and extra marketing to enhance the night even further.
