These Wicked Rivers

These Wicked Rivers

6 Jun 2025 - 16 Aug 2025

From Derby, the band comprises of John Hartwell -- Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar, Arran Day -- Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals, Jon Hallam -- Bass, Dan Southall -- Drums. Collectively influenced by the likes of John Mayer, Rival Sons, Joe Bonamassa, Marcus Bonfanti, Black Stone Cherry and Royal Blood, These Wicked Rivers love writing huge sounding riffs and combining them with epic guitar solos! Fusing the classic rock sounds of Cream with modern blues riffs akin to Joe Bonamassa and John Mayer, they have rapidly developed a cult following in the East Midlands. With their solid collection of self composed material and marrying old-school musicianship with a youthful intensity, they have brought old-style blues rock into the twenty first century!

The Alternative Black Comedy Showcase
Comedy
Che Burnley / PBH's Free Fringe Top black international comedy acts who are still able to get into the country or afford accomodation. Prize games, cabaret and still committed to DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) with a token straight white male comic every show. With previous headliners such as Paul Sinha (ITV's The Chase), Desiree Burch (Live at the Apollo) and Langston Kerman (Amazon Prime's The Boys). It's like a 1970s cabaret show but with more colour and less racism! Back for our seventh year bigger, better and blacker. \*\*\*\*\* (ToDoList.london). None

Meow

Meow

12 Jun 2025 - 12 Jun 2025

MEOW are a covers band made up of local musicians who won't give up their day jobs. We play everything/anything and some might say, nothing. Sometimes we fill the stage with inflatable objects, just to lessen the impact of how great we are. We're ok. We like your shoes. Bring your own mints. Edinburgh-based, time-travelling, perma-shuffled cover song lunatics MEOW, plan on materialising near you to play music this summer. Featuring pop and rock "hits" and weird deep cuts that you may or may not be moved by and a clingy need to please and thank you, MEOW are an experience which you might enjoy, and if not, we can all have a bit of a cry.
