British singer-songwriter Tom Mcrae, along with his regular touring musicians ‘The Standing Band’, has been quietly moving up the ranks of the most respected songwriters in the world today after releasing 7 critically acclaimed studio albums over the last 15 years and writing for a variety of artists and singers. Mcrae’s eponymous debut album in 2000 was nominated for a The Mercury Prize, a Q Magazine Award, and a Brit, and the subsequent two years of touring cemented his reputation as one the most entertaining and powerful artists touring today. Mcrae’s second album, Just Like Blood, released to wide acclaim, with every track being licensed for TV and film use, his style of music fitting perfectly the darker output of LA’s film studios. Since then, Essex-born Mcrae has released five more albums, relocated internationally three times and set up his own label Buzztree Studios in Cornwall- and there’s no sign that he’s going to be slowing down anytime soon. Mcrae and his tour mates, The Standing Band, a collection of incredible musicians and loyal friends, released their latest record ‘Did I Sleep and Miss The Boarder’ this Autumn. Formed in 2017 and based in London, URNE are a three-piece, made up of bassist/vocalist Joe Nally and guitarist Angus Neyra, formerly of Hang The Bastard, and Rich Wiltshire on drums.

Currently based out of the UK, Eyes of Caelum are an indie rock band with an edge that have just come forth with a sensational debut EP called Laced in Gold. Already making waves within their local scene winning awards all over, they're aiming to get this record heard globally, so of course we're urging everyone of our readers to give this a listen. From start to finish, you can expect a completely original rock record that's aiming to do things way different than today's norm. Taking inspiration from some of the greats like Oasis and Arctic Monkeys, Eyes of Caelum have taken those influences but ultimately created something fully unique to themselves. Through 6 rocking tracks that run right around 25 minutes, it's an instant shot of adrenaline that doesn't subside until the final moments. The introduction track "Upper Deck" perfectly primes the listener for what's about to come, but from there on out, it's a rollercoaster and consistent wave of euphoric solos, inspired drumming, and passionate vocals. Speaking on themes that cover topics like "the working class perspective" and other personal life experiences, you get a small taste of where each member has been and where they're going.

The band was born when guitarist George landed on his brother Johnny’s sofa in Colchester after abandoning a job in a Midlands petrol station for the dazzling lights of Essex. They didn’t have a plan. But they had guitars.
