Beverley Memorial Hall is a converted Victorian church (St John's Chapel of Ease), which was deconsecrated in 1939 and reopened as a WWII war memorial hall in 1959. The hall is for hire, and is regularly used by such groups as Beverley Lesiure Group, the University of the Third Age (continuing education for retired and semi-retired people), Beverley Theatre Company, Beverley Musical Theatre, Vista Arts and Beverley Lions. The hall is served by the 6, 61, 180, 522, X46 and X80 bus routes and the nearest train station is Beverley, on the Hull and Scarborough Line.
