The Non-Psychic Seance

The Non-Psychic Seance

26 Sept 2025 - 21 Nov 2025

Get ready for an evening that combines the spooky with the funny, as 'The Non-Psychic 'Psychic'', magician Greg Chapman, takes his new performance on tour in Autumn 2025. Inspired by the response to his 'The Non-Psychic 'Psychic' Show, and his book 'A Study in Psychic', The Non-Psychic Seance, invites attendees to step back in time to the Victorian era. This unique performance captures the intrigue of a (Fraudulent) seance utilizing magical techniques, all while sharing riveting tales of psychic hoaxes from the early twentieth century. Its an engaging mix of history, comedy and illusion that sparks curiosity and thought-provoking conversation. As with 'The Non-Psychic 'Psychic' Show' the show makes no statement about the truth of 'Psychic' powers, and only discusses those who are knowingly committing fraud. The performance stems from my stage show, 'The Non-Psychic 'Psychic' Show', but brings it into a more intimate setting with a maximum of 40 people in the audience for each performance. As with my other shows, the inspiration of the great Harry Houdini is always lurking in the air as well.
Greg Chapmans Discovery of Witchcraft

A show of Magic, Storytelling, History, Comedy and Thought. In 1584, Reginald Scott released his book 'The Discoverie of Witchcraft'. He hoped this book would put an end to innocent people being tried, imprisoned, and hanged for Witchcraft. It would not. Greg Chapman's new show combines magic, storytelling, history, comedy and more to talk about Witchtrials from the 15th Century through to the 20th Century, and does so in a way that is entertaining, informative, and thought-provoking!
