Peter Flanagan: Fresh Prince Of Kildare
After a sold-out, critically acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe, ‘Fresh Prince of Kildare’ is the debut tour show from Irish comedy sensation Peter Flanagan. An hour of impeccably funny, personal comedy from a rising Irish talent.  In this blisteringly funny hour, Peter meditates on his upbringing in his deeply conservative home of Kildare, his move to the melting pot of East London, and the year of bad dates, booze and meditation that followed.  With over 100,000 followers and millions of views online, his whip-smart writing and deeply personal, hilarious stories have landed him headline performances at the top clubs and festivals around the world. Now embarking on a UK, Ireland and European tour.

Youll know him as the host of Another One Podcast, a guest on Have A Word and Green Room, and from the millions whove watched him online instead of doing something productive. PEOPLE: UK TOUR Glasgow

PEOPLE: UK TOUR Glasgow

17 May 2026 - 17 May 2026

Humanity. A bold experiment, a grand design, the so-called pinnacle of creation. On paper, flawless. In reality? A bin fire with opposable thumbs. Enter the Pirate Kingex-wrestler, biker, and Glaswegian antihero with a god-sized chip on his shoulder and a broken Pint glass of cynicism sharpened for the occasion. This is not polite comedy. This is a full-scale audit of the human raceour stupidity, our vanities, our desperate need to invent things like TikTok and gender reveal parties. At the same time, we cant even recycle properly. Gallows humour, filthy truths, blasphemous jabs, and the occasional philosophical gut punchits all here, delivered with the dry, cutting voice of a man whos seen too much and doesnt give a toss about sparing your feelings. People: great idea, poorly executed. Come witness the mess weve made of ourselves, bathe in the stupidity of your own species.

The Roast of The World Cup

10 Jun 2026 - 10 Jun 2026

The Roast of The World Cup Blackfriars Basement is proud to present some of the greatest comedians from around the world competing for laughs, fighting for their countries honour and undoubtedly unleashing some offensive humour on the other nations. Hosted by the greatest front two since Craig Leven played with no strikers, Paddy Linton & Jack Traynor. Representing Scotland we have a midfield general who isn't afraid to leave a trailing leg in...Mark Nelson. We've heard rumours she's making her entrance on the back Wayne Gretzky, its Canadian laugh machine...Kate Hammer. We love the next act but due to him pulling on the colours of his country, England, we will definitely be booing Kai Humphries. USA USA USA USA USA...yeah thats right they are here and have the deadly on the mic Krystal Evans fighting their corner. Next up it's Qatar, wait did they actually qualify? WTF?! Anyway Tia Boyd will be taking up the battle for the homeland. More comedians to be added once the Playoffs are completed. Blackfriars Basement//Wednesday 10th June//Doors 1930
