A Certain Ratio

A Certain Ratio

19 May 2026 - 25 Oct 2026

Formed in 1978 with a core line-up of Jez Kerr, Martin Moscrop and Donald Johnson, A Certain Ratio emerged from the hallowed grounds of the late 70s punk scene, and from that day on they’ve moved forwards with gleeful disregard for the boundaries of style and genre, their eye fixed firmly on constant progression. It’s an ethos that’s open-minded over all else, and that’s seen the band take everything from experimental electronica to vintage funk, and filter it through their own Mancunian lens.

Alien Ex Fiend

Alien Ex Fiend

7 Aug 2026 - 7 Aug 2026

One of the earliest groups to be labeled goth rock, Alien Sex Fiend are among the genre's most theatrical acts. They're also one of its most humorous, preferring a campy B-movie aesthetic to the dourness or morbidity of many of their peers. Heavily influenced by the Cramps, Alice Cooper, glam rock, punk, and psychedelia, the group's performances are ghoulish spectacles, and their boundlessly creative music combines heavy electronic beats and noisy guitars with warped, dubby effects and samples. Alternately referred to as goth, deathrock, post-punk, or industrial, ASF are ultimately a category unto themselves. Presented by Songs from the Boneyard This is an 18+ event

From 1989 to 1992, he continually won the DMC DJ of the Year Award, one of the most prestigious honours in the DJ circuit. He began remixing songs for artists also, and had a regular gig at the Hacienda club where he DJed until its closure. He remains a popular DJ who does not perform very often any more, and he continues to do remixes and work on his own music.

Al Cologne

Al Cologne

25 Jun 2026 - 25 Jun 2026

Al Cologne is a London based artist whose songs balance vulnerability with a subtle, reserved confidence. Their debut EP, arriving March 2026 via Joy of Life International, was produced by Benjamin Woods (The Golden Dregs) and introduces a diaristic, kitchen-sink songwriting voice that is unflinching in its intimacy emotional heft. These are songs about identity, control, and transformation; about trying to inhabit your own body, and then trying again the day following. The arrangements are fluid and unfussy, with space left open for the lyrics to land. In that sense, Cologne’s music finds common ground with artists like Angel Olsen, Sharon Van Etten, Big Thief, Clairo and Faye Webster, though they move in their own lane entirely. Presented by Bootleg Social. This is an 14+ event, under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult

Pan Amsterdam

Pan Amsterdam

4 May 2026 - 4 May 2026

Pan Amsterdam is a musical enigma wrapped in an enduring riddle. His creator is a jazz musician from Houston who’s found fame working with Detroit punk rock God, Iggy Pop, and British indie royalty, Metronomy, and now makes shapeshifting, adventurous hip hop out of the music’s spiritual home, New York. He’s an irreverent character born out of frustration and named after a misunderstanding, yet one who’s on the verge of releasing his fourth album of truth-slaying, genre-crossing rhymes and beats. So, who is Pan Amsterdam? Everything you want him to be. And more besides. He's performed with hip hop/neo-soul luminaries such as Kanye West, Lauryn Hill, Bilal, Erykah Badu and Mos Def. "There are plenty of ways to try and avoid the pain and harshness of the real and existential threats of the world in 2026. On new single ‘Have a Pint’, Glasgow duo Cowboy Hunters’ prescription is simple. More specifically (and swearily), they sing: “World’s fucked so let’s all get cunted” on the chorus, atop an exuberant rave-rock hybrid that’s messy, nihilistic and oodles of fun." Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters

25 Jun 2026 - 14 Nov 2026

Initially a solo project conceived by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters wound up carrying the torch for heavy, melodic arena rock, becoming one of the biggest -- and most enduring acts -- to emerge from the alt-rock boom of the 1990s. Once his self-recorded eponymous album turned into a hit in 1995, Grohl turned Foo Fighters into a full-fledged band whose lineup coalesced after the 1997 release of The Colour and The Shape. With 1999's There Is Nothing Left to Lose, Foo Fighters' sound gelled into a recognizable signature built upon the hooky loud-quiet-loud template of Pixies and Nirvana; a modern rock sound anchored by Grohl's love of classic guitar rock. Alone among their peers, Foo Fighters displayed a rigorous work ethic, recording and touring relentlessly into the 2020s, racking up hit albums, multiple Grammy wins and, eventually, a 2021 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. All this activity allowed the Foos to experiment, whether it was on 2005's double-album In Your Honor, the travelog of 2014's Sonic Highways, or the danceable, feel-good anthems on 2021's Medicine at Midnight. The dedication to work also carried Foo Fighters through tragedy when their drummer Taylor Hawkins unexpectedly died in 2022. Grohl rallied the group to deliver But Here We Are, a cathartic tribute to their colleague.
