The List

Brighton Racecourse

The first official race was held in 1783 and the racecourse was quickly support by King George IV and his buddies, helping it to thrive. The sport was made synonymous with Brighton thanks to the Graham Greene novel Brighton Rock. As well as racedays, the racecourse also accommodates conferences, entertainment and weddings. There is free parking in the main car park and there are facilities for disabled people.
