The Music Factory is a community music project offering free to access music making to the people of Brixham. We deliver three completely free music workshops at The Edge every week for musicians of all ages and abilities, a drum circle, a community band, and a rock band project for under 25s. The Alter Eagles The Alter Eagles are an experienced, authentic Eagles tribute band. Oasiz are one of the UK’s most authentic tribute bands, a point proved in 2023 when a short clip of front man Steve, performing as Liam, went viral on social media with over half a million views. Many fans were convinced the clip was actually of Liam Gallagher himself, which led to the story being covered in the national press, as well as a high profile TV appearance later that year. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of (What’s the story) Morning Glory, Oasiz are embarking on a 2025 UK tour and this is your chance to see them in top form. The setlist will pay homage to the most memorable parts of Oasis’ record breaking 2nd album and will also include all the big hitting career spanning anthems that you would associate with a greatest hits tour.

In a steampunk (Victorian science-fiction) re-imagining of this chilling 19th Century tale, the brilliant doctor, Dr Jekyll, becomes fascinated with researching the nature of the human psyche, and the duality of good and evil, using forbidden experiments, leading to disaster. This adaptation is written from the original novella by Robert Louis Stevenson, following the original story closely, with added researched elements from Victorian scientific discoveries and texts on psychology, expanding the tale . The styling of the play is Victorian steampunk horror. This play contains some horror elements, but is designed to be suitable for all ages. Clara (Foy) is a science-minded teenager whose late mother leaves her a jewellery egg which needs a key, the search for which involves journeying into magical realms. A random hodge-podge of underpowered set pieces loosely inspired by ETA Hoffmann, with the supporting cast chewing the scenery and a lot of grandiose settings but not much story.

Moonage are a recently formed David Bowie Tribute Band. They comprise experienced musicians who have featured in other tribute bands (Pink Floyd, Queen, Free) and are fronted by an amazing singer, Andrew Walker, who has David Bowie off to a tee. Moonage do not copy Bowie's look and costumes, though images will be projected behind the band, but focus on achieving the sound and feel of the man and his bands. Moonage will play songs from the many eras of Bowie, including Space Oddity, Life on Mars, Ziggy Stardust, Starman, Jean Genie, Let's Dance, China Girl, Ashes to Ashes, Heroes, Fame and more. The 5 piece band is enhanced by saxophone and female backing vocalist.
