Substantial remains of one of the earliest stone-built castles in Britain dating back to 1067. The castle was modified and developed in successive stages throughout the Middle Ages and saw further action during and after the Civil War. Also home to the oldest castle doors in Europe. The castle is situated approximately 1km from Chepstow train station.

Returning to the company following Macbeth (2025), this vibrant production also features original music by composerRob Millett (Rambert Dance Company and The Royal Opera House, The National Theatre and Shakespeares Globe). Audience Advisory: This performance of Romeo and Juliet contains themes and depictions of war, death, suicide and violence, which may be distressing for some viewers.
