David Gray’s debut album, 'A Century Ends', was released in 1993, followed by 'Flesh' in 1994. As David’s recording success grew, so did his reputation as a live performer as he toured all around the world playing such iconic venues as London’s Earls Court and Royal Albert Hall, New York’s Madison Square Garden, and the Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl. In 2016, David released 'The Best of David Gray' and 'Gold In A Brass Age' in 2019. During the span of his career thus far, he has the best selling album in Ireland ever with 'White Ladder', a BAFTA nomination, two Ivor Novellos, a Q award, two Brit nominations, and a Grammy nomination.
The Wombats

The Wombats

6 Jun 2026 - 21 Aug 2026

Regular Music presents Summer Nights at the Bandstand 2026 The Wombats with special guests Keyside & Cherryholt Doors: 6.30pm Maximum 6 tickets per online booking. Since The Wombats emerged as leading lights of the late-‘00s indie rock scene with 2007 debut A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation and its hit singles ‘Let’s Dance to Joy Division’, ‘Moving to New York’ and ‘Kill the Director’, Matthew “Murph” Murphy, bassist Tord Øverland Knudsen and drummer Dan Haggis have maintained an incredible upward momentum. 2011’s electro-flecked second album This Modern Glitch made them Top Ten regulars; 2015’s third Glitterbug saw them embraced by the TikTok generation, with “Greek Tragedy” a viral hit several times over. By 2018’s Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life they’d stepped up to arenas and 2022’s Fix Yourself, Not the World consolidated their unstoppable rise with the band’s first Number One album. Headline shows at Crystal Palace and The O2 followed amid the band’s biggest touring cycle so far, taking in arenas across the globe and culminating at Reading 2024, where the band headlined a rammed Radio One tent overspilling with crowds of 18-24-year-olds that remain their core audience twenty years into their career. “There hasn't been a concerted efforts to move sonically with the times, we just hope for the best songs and play around with them in the studio until we're excited. I’m still trying to wrap my head around how it's happening. I think we have the bodies of 40-year-old men and the souls of 13-year-old girls probably. But it's great that the songs are still resonating to new audiences. It's great that our music still clearly has youthful vigour.” - Murph The Wombats’ latest album 2025's Oh! The Ocean is their most sonically adventurous and superbly melodic yet. Its sophisticated, ahead-of-the-curve grooves (the richness of Death Cab for Cutie combined with the adventuring mindset of St Vincent and Tame Impala) still tremble with the sort of confessional emotional honesty that has made the Liverpool band’s music as cathartic and relatable to their growing young fanbase as it is catchy and playful. Regular Music’s annual Summer Nights festival, which runs from the end of July into August each year, has become a firm favourite with music fans and scooped the Unesco City of Music Best Live Event at the Scottish Music Awards in 2017. Gates for Summer Nights at the Bandstand open each night at 6.30pm with draft bars serving a range of drinks including Birra Moretti lager and a selection of delicious street food available.

Self Esteem is Rebecca Lucy Taylor, and a project which began with painting and prints and video alongside her day job writing and performing as one half of Slow Club. Since her musical divergence from the band, Rebecca has revelled in unleashing a whole version of herself with no compromises, no reducing herself, no hesitating. She would go on to write the songs that had been rising up inside her all through the years — big songs, that spoke of love and sex and chaos, that brought in huge basslines, gospel choirs, the kind of polished, provocative production she admired on the biggest pop records.
Jimmy Eat World: Bleed American 25th Anniversary
US quartet Jimmy Eat World draw on first-wave emo, pop punk and classic indie to create earnest, hook-laden alt rock. The band broke through to the mainstream with their seminal 2000 album Bleed American and hit single ‘The Middle’. Jimmy Eat World formed in Mesa, Arizona in 1993, taking their name from a drawing by guitarist Tom Linton’s younger brother Ed that depicted a third brother Jim eating the world. Linton teamed up with bassist Mitch Porter, vocalist/guitarist Jim Adkins and drummer Zach Lind to record a demo, followed by their debut EP One, Two, Three, Four in 1994. Porter was replaced by Rich Burch ahead of the band signing with Capitol Records for their 1996 debut album Static Prevails. Adkins took over sole frontman duties for the 1998 follow-up Clarity, which saw the band start to grow in popularity, partly thanks to the inclusion of the single ‘Lucky Denver Mint’ on the soundtrack to the film Never Been Kissed.

Empire of the Sun

Empire of the Sun

23 Jun 2026 - 28 Jun 2026

After headlining numerous summer festivals, Empire of the Sun will launch an extensive North American headline tour that will give fans the opportunity to see the Australian band in more intimate settings. The fall outing will launch on September 1 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC and will include shows at Pier 26 at Hudson River Park in New York City (September 5) and the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles (October 31). See below for itinerary and specific on sale dates. The band is touring in support of its new album, Ice On The Dune (Astralwerks), the follow-up to the 2008 BRIT-nominated, global smash Walking On A Dream. “Alive,” the collection’s first single, is currently No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance/Club Play Songs chart. The “Alive” video – produced by Kelvin Optical, Inc., a division within Bad Robot – has more than five million views. Empire of the Sun made its U.S. television debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” last month and kicked off the new monthly Jimmy Kimmel Live Stream concert series thereafter. You can view the band performing “Alive” at http://abc.go.com/shows/jimmy-kimmel-live/video/PL5520981/_m_VDKA0_lxqg3erq. The group will headline the HARD Summer 2013, Made in America, Life is Beautiful and Breakaway festivals. Rolling Stone observed, “they pumped up the jams from their just-released dance-pop tour de force Ice on the Dune with a foggy, laser-laden spectacle to dazzle 4 a.m. candy flippers” in a review of the band’s Bonnaroo set while Billboard noted, “Empire of the Sun's crowd never wavered, and soaked in the gonzo electro-pop act.” “Imagine if the centurion world of ‘Sparta’ was transported into the computer game Tron and then cast the replicants from ‘Blade Runner’ as backup dancers: that might give you some indication of the spectacle of an Empire Of The Sun show,” said MTV Australia, covering the band’s performance at the Sydney Opera House. “[Luke] Steele effortlessly held the audience in the palm of his hand with his theatrical performance.” "Wherever you dance this summer, you will be dancing to this record," said Associated Press in a review of Ice On The Dune “Everything about Empire of the Sun is larger than life: The band name, the futuristic stage personas, the Dune-inspired album art and – most importantly – the music,” said Rolling Stone. In 2008, two of Australia’s leading musician/producers, Luke Steele (The Sleepy Jackson) and Nick Littlemore (Pnau), created a vision that seemed to come from an alternative reality – a post-apocalyptic psychedelic adventure known as Empire of the Sun. The resulting album, Walking on a Dream, went on to sell more than a million copies worldwide and contained the singles “We Are The People,” “Standing on the Shore” and the RIAA certified Gold hit “Walking on a Dream.” The album helped spearhead the then-burgeoning EDM movement and earned eight ARIA awards and two BRIT nominations. The adventure continues with Ice On The Dune, which Steele and Littlemore produced with the Walking on a Dream production team. Joining Empire of the Sun as support on their headline dates are Alpine. The Australian sextet released their debut album A Is For Alpine in May 2013 thru Votiv. The album was awarded iTunes’ Australian Alternative Album of the Year, and has received early critical praise from Rolling Stone, USA Today and NPR, with Pitchfork calling it an “unforgettably light and charismatic gem.” Alpine are known for their energetic live shows featuring the double threat of front-women Phoebe Baker and Lou James on lead vocals.
