His guitar playing is an intoxicating mix, combining the raw delta blues of Robert Johnson, the Piedmont style of Reverend Gary Davis and the infectious bounce of Big Bill Broonzy. A great friend of The Midnight Special Blues Club for many years, this almost legendary performer and certainly one of our most underrated blues players returns to The Cabin for one night only. You might have seen/heard him as the guitarist and voice of The Spikedrivers, one of the most popular bands and festival favourites of the last 30 plus years. Erin has been playing country blues since she was a little girl, getting her chops from her virtuoso dad, roots/blues musician & stellar guitar expert Neil Harpe. Two-time Blues Artist of the Year, and leader of the band Erin Harpe & the Delta Swingers, she has earned a reputation as a captivating performer, playing stages large and small throughout the US, UK and Europe, and opening for everyone from ZZ Top to Honeyboy Edwards, Buddy Guy and James Cotton.
