Joining us this month as special guest is none other than Mr Curtis Randles who smashed his first YDNY appearance. Curtis has been rocking dancefloors for the last 26 years. In this time his versatility has seen him hold much sought after residencies with such venues and promoters as Kanya, (Ibiza), Garlands, and Godskitchen. His wide and varied taste in music has seen him play triumphant sets for Amnesia, Cafe Del Mar, Clockwork Orange, Dance Valley, DC10, Eden, El Divino, Es Paradis, Meganite, MTV Aquasonic, Sundissential, Techno Party, UFO, Beat-Herder, The Lost Disco, Supernature On Sunday, Riff-Raff, and Escape To Freight Island. It's All Gravy with Justin Robertson, Massey & DJ Helen
Its back! The tastiest night in the North yes, Its All Gravy returns and this time weve got one of the juiciest DJs ever Mr JUSTIN ROBERTSON at the helm, alongside Manchester maestros MASSEY and DJ HELEN. These three top notch spinners will be serving up an extra-rich dollop of eclectic house and disco with a delicious acid-house tang - guaranteed to get you slavering on the dancefloor. JUSTIN ROBERTSON Has remained at the cutting edge of showbiz for 35 years. A DJ, producer, broadcaster, visual artist, and author, his career has been driven by an unrelenting passion and constant evolution. Starting out at Manchesters Eastern Bloc records in the late '80s, Justin was a pivotal figure in the city's acid house scene. While studying philosophy, he became immersed in club culture, co-promoting legendary nights like Spice and Most Excellentlaunchpads for acts like the Chemical Brothers. His eclectic DJ sets and remixes for artists like Björk, Erasure, and Talk Talk soon gained global attention. With his genre-blurring band Lionrock, Justin scored Top 40 hits, appeared on Top of the Pops, and toured with Cocteau Twins, fusing dub, psychedelia, and '60s film soundtracks. Never one to sit still, he went on to create projects like Revtone, the Deadstock 33s, and his latest, Five Green Moonswhose 2024 debut Moon 1 was widely acclaimed. Justin continues to remix a wide range of artistsfrom New Order to Justiceand collaborates regularly with names like Daniel Avery and Brix Smith. On Soho Radio, he presents two hit shows: The Rotating Institute (electronic sounds) and The Temple of Wonders (a global musical journey). Beyond music, Justin is an accomplished visual artist with sold-out exhibitions across Europe, and collaborations with the Tate and Verdant brewery. His work has even appeared at the Saatchi Gallery and Tate Modern. His debut novel, The Tangle (2021), a Times-recommended folk horror-sci-fi hybrid, has been optioned for TV. He continues to appear at literary events and has just released his new book The Trial of Jonah with Velocity Press, and you can buy a combo ticket for the night and pick up your signed copy! From scoring films to designing artful t-shirts, Justins creativity knows no bounds. A true polymath, he lives in Surrey with Harry the dog and a vast collection of hats. Enjoy the trip. MASSEY Born in Bolton...based in Stockport... is very much an integral stalwart of Manchesters underground electronic music scene where he is immersed in music on a daily basis and juggles multiple roles from producer, engineer, remixer, promoter, booker, programmer, radio host, A&R & tea boy (obvs). He runs his own label Sprechen and oversees an A&R/label manager role for the legendary Paper Recordings as well being a resident at Manchesters Sticky Heat alongside running a whole manner of club, music & arts related events via Sprechen. His DJ sets jump genres from house to disco, Italo, jolly techno to boogie & weird Stuff alongside his own productions & remixes which have entertained dancers at gatherings not only at clubs and festivals in the UK, but also across across Europe at the likes of Barbarellas Discotheque & for Frekuensi Minor in Jakarta. He has DJ'd alongside the likes of Lindstrøm, Optima, Cynthie, Justin Robertson, Nancy Noise, Rex the Dog, Horse Meat Disco, Hifi Sean, Raw Silk & Awesome Tapes From Africa and Sean Johnston/Hardway Bros at the seminal night ALFOS which Sprechen promotes in Manchester. More recently her has developed Sprechen into being more than just a record label and to be more a hub to nurture new & emerging creatives and where he can assist and mentor in the final mix & engineering stage of music production. His latest venture has been 'The Thief Of Time', a cross genre studio project which focuses on music away from the clubs and is heavily influenced by a life lived through the 80's with sounds, stylings, aesthetics & narratives all taking place in the semi autobiographical productions. DJ HELEN Has been a mainstay on the Manchester club scene for two decades - lighting up dancefloors with her electric sets that span everything from pop, disco and house to rave, hardcore and jungle. In 2024, Helen collaborated with Orbital, David Holmes and Mike Garry to release the hugely successful Tonight In Belfast played on BBC Radio 1, 2 and 6 and live as part of Orbitals recent tour of the UK. A regular at festivals and clubs up and down the country, she is a resident at highly-regarded Mancunian club nights Space Cassette and Undus Mundus, while also a member of the HENGE DJ SUPERCREW - a collective of selectors that includes members of the immensely-popular, prog-rave alien band HENGE. Helen is also the resident DJ at family-friendly events Our Kids Social playing across the North-West and beyond.

Parker Fans

13 May 2025 - 13 May 2025

Dutch trio Parker Fans channel the energy of your favorite cassette mixtape, translating it to a boisterous pop sound that leans on the foundation of drum samples, synths and ultra groovy bass to shuffle styles with a magpies spirit. The main directive is simple and altruistic: get people to dance their bleeding hearts out. Appearing at festivals like Best Kept Secret, Left of the Dial, Into The Great Wide Open and Eurosonic as well as shows with Altin Gün, Pip Blom and Jungle By Night Parker Fans built themselves a reputation for maximum mayhem in grubby clubs and bigger festivals alike and every reputable and questionable establishment in between. Aware of the futility of having too much fun, their infuriatingly catchy songs survey the stirrings of nightlife through a cracked lens.
