Not been to a silent disco before? When you arrive you'll be given a headset that plays three channels of music. You get to pick which song (or songs, if you're a channel flicker!) you want to listen to. Every headset has a light on it which means you can tell what other people are listening to from the colour of the light. So if someone looks like they're having a great time dancing, you can flip over to their channel and join in too! And what do we play? All sorts: pop, hip hop, electro, disco, funk, punk, RnB, DnB, nu metal, new wave, old school, school disco and more! Unlike other silent discos, we don't stick to a single genre per channel, so at any one time, there's always something for everyone. We also take advance requests so if there's something you really want to hear, let us know. Our only rule? Is it a banger? See you on the dancefloor! Any further information about this event (cancellations, entry requirements etc) will be emailed to you in advance of the event date and made available through our social media channels. They will be working with two early-years educators who understand the importance of development through art explorations. The workshop will begin with a circle time introducing the theme of PRINTING. This will involve a story and encourage the children to share their knowledge and become more comfortable with the group. We will have three spaces in the workshop - an independent area, a collaborative piece and a space to learn a skill with one adult. The workshop will last an hour and a half. Hope to see you there! IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Adults will be responsible for their children throughout the workshop, however you are more than welcome to sit at a nearby table. Workshops can be messy, please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

Run Remedy 'Xtian Skate Night' album release show
Join Run Remedy and her full band to celebrate the release of her debut album, 'Xtian Skate Night' - complete with performances by the Lesbian Boyband choir and Bryony Lloyd... oh...and roller skate dance performances from Sugar + Spin. Run Remedy: "Beautiful... really special." Guy Garvey, BBC 6 Music "Dreamy... a moment of calm." Craig Charles, BBC 6 Music "Intimacy cloaked in the paranoia of a closeted teen." Under the Radar Run Remedy is Robin Koob ex-evangelical violin nerd turned alt-indie sad girl with a sense of humor. Born in Jersey, forged in church choirs and string quartets, she now stomps the streets of Manchester, writing songs that are part shoegaze, part diary entry, part stand-up set. Her music swerves from grief to giggles without warning covering everything from religious trauma to secret crushes and awkward family dinners. Its heartfelt, catchy, and just unhinged enough to make your therapist concerned. Xtian Skate Night - an album of an evangelical escapee and rainbow kiddo...on skates.
Red Laser Suburban Diskoteque Summer Jamboree
As per previous parties, our trusty co-pilots Kickin' Pidge and Matt Triggs man the starship for this particular soiree, with substantial rumours of Pharaoh joining them up in the cockpit as well. We've finally secured recent Whalley Range migrant COWPER on guest duties. The previous Red Laser Records signing, Between Stations label owner and Noods broadcaster is the only person we've seen from Bristol perform a backflip from standing upon request, and can successfully identify any particular brand of poppers off two whiffs alone. Joining him is Social Service mischief man Dave O who RL regulars will remember from ripping THW a new one for us many moons ago. We've been wanting to get him down the 'Club for sometime - and low and behold - between Stevie Wonder and responsibilities at his own party over in Old Trafford, the stars have aligned and we've nailed him down for July's romp. Special one this folks - for the first time we's are gonna be OUTSIDE from 5pm - blasting pure Manctolo sizzlers right across the beer garden and bowling green as the renowned 'Friday Kids Club' winds down (depending on how many sweets the little buggers have been caning), and the balmy summer evening draws languidly onwards. Then at 8pm we kick-off INSIDE with the lasers in full effect and the subs turned up to full - Maximum Buzz guaranteed!!!! FREE ENTRY for all but we will be taking donations upon entry to the club from 8pm. Suggested
