Following successful concerts in both Portsmouth and Truro, The Royal Marines Band Service Big Band, ‘The Oceanaires’, are delighted to be bringing their talents to Central Hall, Southampton. Since the reinauguration of the band, The Oceanaires have enjoyed performances in the south of England, including at the annual Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as travelling to the Hall for Cornwall earlier this year. They have also enjoyed working with Chris Dean, the leader of the famous Syd Lawrence Orchestra and considered one of the foremost big band directors in the UK, as well as recording several tracks for You Tube and an expected album release online later this year.
