14 Apr 2026 - 18 Apr 2026

A year in the lives of three generations of Dublin women, exploring love, sex, birth, death, and salsa classes through moving and often hilarious monologues. Amber, fresh out of school, is high on life, double sambucas, and boyfriend Paul - until fierce indigestion strikes. Feisty, mouthy, but vulnerable, Lorraine, her mum, attacks a customer and is sent to therapy, where she takes up salsa while searching for a better life and the right man. Kay, in her sixties, struggles with her ailing husband and family responsibilities. As the year unfolds, they face challenges with humour, finding strength in one another. This amateur production of Little Gem is presented by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.

What if every decision you made created a new universe? When Marianne, a cosmologist, meets Roland, a beekeeper, its the start of a love story that plays out across multiple universes. Through a series of funny, touching, and heartbreaking scenes, we glimpse the infinite possibilities of their relationship as we discover how small choices can change everything. Moving between parallel worlds from first dates to final goodbyes, Constellations is a tender, thought-provoking love story about chance, fate, and all the infinite possibilities in between. This amateur production of Constellations is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. This production will be performed in the studio on the first floor, which is accessed by a flight of stairs. Note that there are 2 performances on Saturday 18th April:- the matinee at 2:30pm and the evening performance at 7:45pm.
A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare
A new experience for Chads' audience - this production is being performed in the round. Seats on rows A and B are on the stage looking in towards the centre square acting area (see seating plan, right), now with generous spacing between them. Why not try it out? One of Shakespeare's most popular comedies, this enchanting tale of romance, magic, and mischief is perfect for summer. The Duke of Athens, Theseus, is set to marry Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, but their celebrations are disrupted by Egeus, who demands his daughter Hermia marry Demetrius. In love with Lysander, she refuses and faces death or life in a convent. She and Lysander flee, pursued by Helena and Demetrius, into a mystical forest ruled by the feuding fairy King and Queen, Oberon and Titania. With meddling fairies, magic spells, and a group of bumbling tradesmen rehearsing a play, chaos unfolds!
