Chester Racecourse
This 65 acre racecourse was once a harbour during the Roman settlement of Chester. The site was also home to the infamous Goteddsday football match which was banned in 1533 and replaced six years later by horse racing.
Its location in the city makes it a popular venue as it's a short dash to local hotels, shops, bars and restaurants.
The racecourse is a 20--30 minute walk from Chester city centre and the local railway station.

COMIC CON MANIA SWEEPS THE NATION!
Monopoly events are delighted to announce a new series of Comic Cons that we'll be bringing to you in 2024.
Over the last few years we've cemented our position as the leading fan convention operators in the UK and our shows are known for bringing the biggest and best celebrity talent to meet their fanbase. After a period of exciting growth we've decided to launch a new show concept COMIC CON MANIA.
These shows will offer the same fan friendly, geektastic fun at our bigger shows. Each event will feature a Cosplay competition and parade, retro and current gaming, a selection of our favourite traders and plenty of awesome set builds and props from the tv series and movies you love.... plus a whole lot more.
So pretty much everything you've come to know and love from a Monopoly Events show - but with some small changes....
Comic Con Mania events will all be one day. Usually Saturday, with the odd Sunday sprinkled in
Tickets will be lower - starting at £10 for Adults, with discounts for concessions.
Most shows will feature some celebrity guests - but not at the same extent of our regular Comic Con events.
