Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids)

Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids)

30 Apr 2026 - 8 May 2026

Kansas City, Missouri native, Matt Pryor, is a household name for anyone who was attuned to the second and third waves of emo. His genre-defining band, The Get Up Kids, were among a small and legendary group that has shaped the musical landscape for years. However, after growing tired of the boundaries it so needlessly applied, the internationally recognised frontrunners eventually transcended the genre with their later albums and found themselves at home with a more indie sound. Most recently, on his latest album under his given name, Matt Pryor has presented the world with The Salton Sea, and it is abundantly clear that this is the continuation of a decades-long love affair with music and being outright obsessed with song-writing. Steadfast fans of Pryor's prolific career will also find themselves treated to a style that is more reminiscent of the works of Paul Westerberg and Red House Painters, that is of course laden with Pryor's signature style, whose DNA is deeply rooted in artists like Elvis Costello and The Afghan Whigs.
EMF

EMF

30 Apr 2026 - 5 Aug 2026

British dance-rock quintet EMF formed in Cinderford, England in October 1989. All five original members were veterans of the local music scene before founding EMF, whose name supposedly stood for Epsom Mad Funkers" (although it was widely speculated that the initials instead represented "Ecstasy Mother Fckers"). Within two months of formation, the group played its first gig; after unearthing a Casio sampler and sequencer in a local thrift shop, a light techno element was added to their rock-oriented sound.

Yellow Days

Yellow Days

4 May 2026 - 10 May 2026

George van den Broek aka Yellow Days is a teenager hailing from the town of Haslemere, England. The 18 year old sings like a 300 year wizard and sits perfectly next to 70's soul greats. Peppered with winding, magical mystery tour-like interludes, debut album Is Everything Ok In Your World? is as complete a statement as they come, and presents an artist with - what you’d expect - is almost a frightening level of ideas and creativity up his sleeve. It’s clear that traditional genre boundaries mean little to van den Broek, and it makes the record a refreshing melting pot of jazz, indie, soul and beyond. It’s an incredibly conscious album, tackling battles amongst friends, strangers and himself with the upmost care. In a world increasingly anxious and disconnected, the compassion and care of Yellow Days is something to treasure.

Weatherday

Weatherday

20 May 2026 - 30 May 2026

Hornet Disaster, Weatherday’s follow-up to their 2019 debut Come in, and spiritual successor to 2022’s collab release Weatherglow, is their most expansive work to date. In Weatherday’s initial bout of inspired writing and recording, they produced over 70 songs for the record, but not before they had a complete, overarching narrative that was coherently tied back to Sputnik’s previous work. Like its predecessor Come in, Weatherday’s Hornet Disaster lurches instantly into a caustic title track. The overture is signature Weatherday - urgent, noisy, erratic, and playful - but also hints at shifts in songwriting and production. Lead single “Angel,” backed with “Heartbeats,” demonstrates this evolution in a snappy, springy emo anthem, while its counterpart calls on longtime influence The Knife in a slinky, downtempo curio that pushes the Weatherday sonic universe in an unexpected direction. The movement, color, and form of hornets are meticulously threaded throughout the album’s nineteen song tracklist, with hectic melody and unpredictable turns giving way to various forays: a tribute to Swedish winter in Weatherday’s first official song in Swedish (“Pulka”); the use of renaissance flute (“Green Tea Seaweed Sea”); and the folktronica experimentalism of third single “Ripped Apart By Hands.”

4 Jul 2026 - 1 Sept 2026

This Is The Kit, the nom de plume of Kate Stables, has been in existence since the '00s, when Kate moved to Bristol and started playing and collaborating with local musicians. It was here where her debut album Krulle Bol took shape, recorded and produced by PJ Harvey's long-standing musical collaborator John Parish. Her second album, 2010's Wriggle Out The Restless was made in France alongside members of Francois and the Atlas Mountains before final touches from TITK's extended musical family were added in Bristol, Belgium and several points in between. The aim is to have fun playing with people whose work I really like, says Kate in her simple and direct fashion. The more you exchange and share with people the better things get and the more you learn. This is the Kit has opened for artists such as The National, Jose Gonzales, and Iron & Wine and was selected by Sharon Van Etten as her Favourite New Artist in an interview with Pitchfork. This is the Kits' 2015 album Bashed Out, was produced by The National's Aaron Dessner and released on his Brassland label. Bashed Out features performances from Aaron, his brother Bryce Dessner, Benjamin Lanz (Beirut), Thomas Bartlett (Doveman, The Gloaming) and Matt Barrick (The Walkmen) alongside her regular cast of collaborators. On its release, Bashed Out received critical acclaim, and was quickly seen as a breakthrough record. Packed out performances followed, including a headline show at the Scala, and the album was picked as Guy Garvey's Album of The Year for 2015 on BBC 6 Music. 2016 saw This is the Kit continue to tour relentlessly, including shows in Paris, a Scottish Highlands tour and an appearance at BBC 6music Festival in Bristol. Following on from a raft of shows and festival dates throughout the summer (including appearances at Festival Number 6, Bestival, Cambridge Folk Festival, WOMAD, Glastonbury and Guy Garvey's Meltdown) This Is the Kit played their biggest London show to date with a rapturously received sold out London Union Chapel in November, before commencing work on the follow up to Bashed Out.
