Their impact on pop – and especially female-fronted pop acts – has been recognised time and time again, and they are among a select group of British acts that have had all their albums reach the top 15. The original line-up didn’t reunite until 2012, when they re-entered the recording studio to work on new music. Single ‘Flatline’ came in 2013, released under the name Mutya Keisha Siobhan as the ‘Sugababes’ name was still in use. The group did eventually reclaim the name in 2015 and re-released ‘Flatline’ as the Sugababes in 2022. They embarked on The Sacred Three tour in 2016, playing a string of dates around the UK. Jeff Lynne's ELO

9 Jul 2025 - 13 Jul 2025

Jeff Lynne has been making waves all over the world for most of his very musical life, a fact memorably documented in the acclaimed 2012 documentary Mr Blue Sky: The Story of Jeff Lynne & ELO. The creative force of Electric Light Orchestra and a singularly accomplished producer, singer-songwriter and key collaborator with some of the most illustrious names in rock history, Lynne has been making global music history for most of his life. In 2012, Lynne returned in a big way to make waves all over again with Long Wave. Lynne’s extraordinarily vital and impressive latest solo album found this remarkable artist and record maker recording some of the great popular songs that first inspired his lifelong and enduring love affair with popular music. Evoking an era back when old standards were just giving way to rock'n'roll, Long Wave powerfully celebrates the music of a time when Lynne’s lifelong passion for music began. 'I call this album Long Wave because all of the songs I sing on it are the ones heard on long wave radio when I was a kid growing up in Birmingham, England,' Lynne explains. 'These songs take me back to that feeling of freedom in those days and summon up the feeling of first hearing those powerful waves of music coming in on my old crystal set. My dad also had the radio on all the time, so some of these songs have been stuck in my head for 50 years. You can only imagine how great it felt to finally get them out of my head after all these years.'

Along the way, he's worked with Rihanna, Beyonc, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Lopez, Leona Lewis (he shared a 2008 Best Record Grammy nod for her "Bleeding Love"), and other massive stars. And it's all lead him back to his own Denver, Colorado-based band, where he pours out his most heartfelt music.
Jamiroquai

Jamiroquai

3 Dec 2025 - 14 Dec 2025

A decade and a half is a long time to be at the top of your game; no matter what that game might be. In music, it's a near impossibility. While many set off as next big things, few stay the distance to arrive as genuine international icons. After 15 years, 159 weeks on the UK singles chart, 232 weeks on the albums chart, more than 20 million album sales and five mammoth world tours - playing to 5 million people in 38 countries - it's fair to sat that Jay Kay, the quick stepping 37 year-old professionally known as Jamiroquai, has finally made it. What's more, he's got the 6 multi-platinum albums, 5 MTV awards, the Grammy, the Ivor Novello and enough lurid tabloid headlines to prove it. And now, just in case there was any doubt, he's got 'High Times - The Singles 1992-2006", a singles collection which rams home the point and tracks the decade and a half journey via his irresistible rare groove and unmistakable barbed disco. A year later, Kay & Co continued to carve their own very distinct niche with second album, 'Return of the Space Cowboy'. Through a haze of drugs and frustration its darker grind and jaded inner-city social commentary established Jamiroquai as the face of British Urban music. Still to this day the song 'Return of the Space Cowboy' is Kiss FM's most played track of all time. Enough said really.

But it might not have turned out that way. As a teenager, he had a promising football career, playing for Luton Town, Northampton Town, Aston Villa and Stevenage. Tom’s first album Lighting Matches was one of the 10 best-selling debuts of 2018. Filled with huge tunes like “Found What I’ve Been Looking For”, “Barbed Wire” and “Something In The Water”, the album showcased Tom’s emotional, careworn voice, a rasp full of devilment and mischief as well as love and solace.

The Doobie Brothers

Born out of Northern California’s chaotic, late-1960s musical stew, The Doobie Brothers’ rugged, real and authentic approach to rock and roll made them biker bar stalwarts. But their self-titled debut album in ’71 went beyond just leather and motorcycles, revealing even more musical layers; sweet three-part harmonies and rootsy, introspective, acoustic flavors. The Doobie Brothers’ legacy has been built upon not just hit records, but also an unrivaled commitment to musical integrity and a steadfast allegiance to their enthusiastic fan base. Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder

7 Jul 2025 - 12 Jul 2025

Stevie Wonder is a much-beloved American icon and an indisputable genius not only of R&B but popular music in general. Blind virtually since birth, Wonder's heightened awareness of sound helped him create vibrant, colourful music teeming with life and ambition. Nearly everything he recorded bore the stamp of his sunny, joyous positivity; even when he addressed serious racial, social, and spiritual issues (which he did quite often in his prime), or sang about heartbreak and romantic uncertainty, an underlying sense of optimism and hope always seemed to emerge. Much like his inspiration, Ray Charles, Wonder had a voracious appetite for many different kinds of music, and refused to confine himself to any one sound or style. His best records were a richly eclectic brew of soul, funk, rock & roll, sophisticated Broadway/Tin Pan Alley-style pop, jazz, reggae, and African elements and they weren't just stylistic exercises; Wonder took it all and forged it into his own personal form of expression. His range helped account for his broad-based appeal, but so did his unique, elastic voice, his peerless melodic facility, his gift for complex arrangements, and his taste for lovely, often sentimental ballads. Additionally, Wonder's pioneering use of synthesizers during the '70s changed the face of R&B, he employed a kaleidoscope of contrasting textures and voices that made him a virtual one-man band, all the while evoking a surprisingly organic warmth. Along with Marvin Gaye and Isaac Hayes, Wonder brought R&B into the album age, crafting his LPs as cohesive, consistent statements with compositions that often took time to make their point. All of this made Wonder perhaps R&B's greatest individual auteur, rivalled only by Gaye or, in later days, Prince. Originally, Wonder was a child prodigy who started out in the general Motown mould, but he took control of his vision in the '70s, spinning off a series of incredible albums that were as popular as they were acclaimed; most of his reputation rests on these works, which most prominently include Talking Book, Innervisions, and Songs in the Key of Life. His output since then has been inconsistent, marred by excesses of sentimentality and less of the progressive imagination of his best work, but it's hardly lessened the reverence in which he's long been held.

Born and raised in Southern California, Este, Danielle and Alana Haim grew up in a musical family. Having learned multiple instruments from an early age, they performed with their parents, Mordechai and Donna, as Rockinhaim. More a fun family activity than a serious band, Rockinhaim played songs like Brown Eyed Girl, Mustang Sally and Proud Mary at charity events and even in a deli where they were paid in matzah ball soup. For a short time in 2005, elder siblings Este and Danielle joined the all-girl pop band Valli Girls, but by 2007 the Haim sisters were writing songs together and performing without their parents. They booked their first show as HAIM at a clown museum. Their debut album, Days Are Gone, came out in 2013. Widely praised, it boasts a bright and breezy collection of songs – from the titular track to Falling and If I Could Change Your Mind – mixing SoCal dreaminess with defiance and reckless abandon. In the years that followed the sisters supported, collaborated and developed friendships with artists like Stevie Nicks, Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift.
