Comar, An Tobar & Mull Theatre
Our producing company, Mull Theatre, has taken more than 40 major projects to more than 300 venues – from Shetland, through Orkney, on almost every island off the west coast, down every highway and byway, on isolated peninsulas and in secluded glens, in almost every local authority area in Scotland, in almost every town or village which has ever had live theatre, in almost every small, medium or large theatre in almost every town or city in the land, from the Royal Lyceum and the Citizens to the schoolroom on the Isle of Muck. Mull Theatre’s productions have appeared at all the major Scottish theatres, and its production of Peter Arnott’s Cyprus had a four-week run at Trafalgar Studios in London’s West End.
Recent work has included Michael Healey's The Drawer Boy; the ever-popular Whisky Galore; GRIT: The Martyn Bennett Story (a co-production with Pachamama Productions and Tramway); The Greatest Little Republic in the World by Chris Lee; Rough Island by Nicola McCartney, Doras Dùinte by Catriona Lexy Campbell (co-productions with Oran Mor and Theatre Gu Leor); The Fisherman and his Wife by Lisa Grindall (touring to 30 schools in Argyll); My Name is Rachel Corrie (co-production with RT Productions), The Man Who Had All The Luck by Arthur Miller, (co-production with Sell-a-Door Theatre), Scota-Land by Andy Cannon (co-production with Andy Cannon, in association with Imaginate Children’s Theatre Festival and the Cultural Olympiad).

Part of Comar, Mull Theatre welcomes creative partnerships and provides support and facilities to rehearse and develop projects, to commission and create new work, to combine strengths and to tour more widely. The company is based at Druimfin.
