Stiff Little Fingers were formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland. Along with the likes of the Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Buzzcocks, Undertones, Sham 69, Stranglers, et al – Stiff Little Fingers were at the forefront of the punk movement. They wrote initially about their own lives, growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, in songs like “Suspect Device” and “Wasted Life”. In November of ’77, they released those two songs on their own Rigid Digits label, and sent a copy to BBC Radio One DJ John Peel, who started playing it every night. These were the first of what became SLF’s signature style: lyrics that meld the personal and political, music that combines the energy of punk with infectious hooks, and delivery that rings of honesty and commitment. In 1979 they became the first band ever to hit the UK top 20 album charts on an independent label with their debut Inflammable Material. The album chronicles the band’s anger and frustration at “the Troubles” in Northern Ireland, and calls on youth to create their own reality. Over the years, their live shows continued to be special events of energy and power. Their studio albums demonstrate their passion and anger, each in its own way. In ’94 they released the Get a Life LP. The album helped renew interest in SLF just as newer bands that sited them as a major influence, such as Bad Religion, Sugar, Rancid and Therapy?, were coming to prominence. After many studio albums and countless tours, Stiff Little Fingers find themselves more in demand than ever.

The solo project of Brooklyn-based songwriter and producer S. Holden Jaffe, Del Water Gap emerged in the early 2010s with an alluring and intimate indie folk-pop sound. Brighton's Yonaka formed at the beginning of 2015 and quickly gained a big reputation with the blogs of the indiesphere. Their mixture of ice-clean melodies with dark indie led to DIY describing them as a 'fascinating conundrum, clashing soul with all-out hedonism like Alabama Shakes on a rampage.'

Dana Foote put Sir Chloe together in college to serve as her senior thesis. She wrote “Michelle,” and “Animal,” songs that would become the band’s first major hits a few years later, on the floor of her college dorm. The band recorded the songs in the early hours of the morning, the only time their school’s studio was available. The rest of Sir Chloe’s EP Party Favors was recorded in a warehouse that the band transformed into a decent recording space with just $100 dollars and sheer will. This labour of love soon transformed into something colossal. Due to the success of the EP, Sir Chloe would go on to tour with Portugal. the Man and alt-J, open for the Pixies, and headline two tours in the United States and Europe.

Armed only with an arsenal of guitars and Northern chips on their slender shoulders, Demob Happy are here to wage a war on cultural mediocrity and political complacency - and they won't quit until they've flipped wigs and taken scalps. Their targets are legion: David Cameron and Ed Sheeran. Big business and the banking system. Trust fund fuckers. This Newcastle-spawned, Brighton-based quartet had a sound to match their invective. Drawing on the likes of Nirvana, Queens of The Stone Age, Melvins, The Beatles, The Stooges and Kyuss for source material, theirs is off-kilter pop music wrapped up in a barbed-wire body bag, dunked in honey and left out in a woodland clearing for the feral beasts to peck and pick apart. Heavy, heady and with a set of snarling teeth.

Vent 414 is a British indie rock power trio formed in late 1994, consisting of vocalist and guitarist Miles Hunt (formerly of The Wonder Stuff), bassist Morgan Nicholls (ex-Senseless Things), and drummer Pete Howard (ex-Eat and The Clash), with the band's name derived from the members' combined ideal fighting weight of 414 pounds.

John 5 has been one of the most in-demand guitar players on the planet. As well as a guitarist for hire, 5 has shared the stage as axe-man for Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and Rob Halford. He has also worked with an impressive array of names, from all walks of music, including KD Lang, Rod Stewart, Dave Lee Roth, Alice Cooper, Tina Guo and Steven Adler. To call John 5 a shredder does not do him justice. There’s little he can’t put his hand to.

The Bug Club's name does a good job of introducing the band and their music: a tight-knit, collaborative effort focussed on telling tales of the everyday that we often take for granted, shot through with humour and riffs-a-plenty. Comprising the creative trio of Sam Willmett (guitar/vocals), Tilly Harris (bass/vocals) & Dan Matthew (drums), The Bug Club formed in 2016 in the little-known rock n' roll hotbed that is Caldicot, Monmouthshire. The band were signed by Bingo Records in Autumn 2020, and released their first single 'We Don't Need Room For Lovin'' in Feb 2021. EPs Launching Moondream One and Pure Particles followed, along with standalone releases Intelectuals and Two Beauties. Initially championed by BBC 6 Music's Marc Riley, along with Adam Walton and Huw Stephens on Radio Cymru, The Bug Club have since earned the support of DJs, fellow artists and press worldwide. Sold-out tours across the UK and in Europe paved the way for a 2023 which will see the band play further afield to an ever-growing loyal fanbase, who can look forward to a number of new releases from the trio this year. Darren is one of the biggest names in Dance music. He is a DJ, Producer, Songwriter and Singer. He is currently working on the follow up to his debut solo album Skydivin which entered the official UK album charts at number 4 and has sold over 200,000 copies to date. The new album entitled Feel The Pressure was released in 2010. In 2001 Darren teamed up with Mark Breeze and formed Styles & Breeze, another very successful duo achieving UK chart hits with You're Shining and Heatbeatz. Darren has won a number of hardcore awards during his career recently including ‘Best DJ' 2006 and 2007, ‘Best Producer' 2006 and 2008, ‘Best Hardcore Tune' 2006, 2008 and 2009. He also received ‘Outstanding Contribution to Hardcore' in 2009.

We are very excited to welcome House legend Marshall Jefferson to the C2 stage. Getting you all warmed up is Sam Moffett (English Disco Lovers). One of the original innovators in Chicago house, Marshall Jefferson had a hand in several of the music's most influential early tracks. As a solo act, he recorded 1986's "Move Your Body" -- subtitled and unanimously acclaimed "The House Music Anthem." Jefferson also helped record 's "Acid Tracks," the first and best acid-house single, and ' uplifting anthem "Someday," both in 1987.
