Located on the roof of a former printworks, Dalston Roof Park is owned and operated by Bootstrap Company and is exactly what it sounds like: a rooftop garden where you can have a beer from the in-house 40Ft Brewery, grab one of chef Tom Hunt's burgers from the ethical charcoal barbecue (or try Marie Gonford's French-inspired menu), listen to live music or catch a film screening, and generally enjoy some roof-located relaxation amid the East London skyline. You need membership to enter (£5 for the whole summer.) Being a rooftop garden as well as a venue it grows its own herbs, as well as hops for the beer. Like everywhere else in downtown Dalston, the nearest Tube stations are Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction.
