Flaming Lips

Flaming Lips

18 Jul 2026 - 29 Jul 2026

Melodically, their sound contains lush, multi-layered, psychedelic rock arrangements, but lyrically their compositions show elements of space rock, including unusual song and album titles—such as “Psychiatric Explorations of the Fetus with Needles”, “Free Radicals (A Hallucination of the Christmas Skeleton Pleading with a Suicide Bomber)” and “Yeah, I Know It’s a Drag… But Wastin’ Pigs Is Still Radical”. They are also acclaimed for their elaborate live shows, which feature costumes, balloons, puppets, video projections, complex stage light configurations, giant hands, large amounts of confetti, and frontman Wayne Coyne’s signature man-sized plastic bubble, in which he traverses the audience. In 2002, Q magazine named The Flaming Lips one of the “50 Bands to See Before You Die”.

Jason Manford - A Manford All Seasons
Born in 1981, it took only 17 years for comedian, writer, actor, television and radio presenter Jason Manford to make his mark on the live circuit. Working as a glass collector at the Buzz Comedy Club in Manchester's suburban area of Chorlton, Manford stepped in when a scheduled performer failed to turn up. Just six live gigs later he claimed The City Life North West Comedian Of The Year award, launching a career that would cement him as a household name across the United Kingdom. Jason’s been busy since his last smash-hit stand up show but fans of his Absolute Radio show will know this nationally acclaimed comedian hasn’t changed a bit.
James B Partridge - The Big Christmas Assembly
Join James B Partridge for The Big Christmas Assembly 2026 - the nostalgic, feel-good festive singalong that brings your childhood Christmases flooding back. Packed with more festive classics, throwback mashups, and laugh-out-loud stories than you can throw a glitter-glue halo at. What began as playful performances for his pupils has grown into a nationwide phenomenon - from TikTok fame to closing the field at Glastonbury Festival. With recent appearances on Virgin Radio, BBC Radio 2, The One Show and Songs of Praise, James has never been more in demand - and with the majority of his 2025 Christmas tour selling out well in advance, early booking is strongly advised. Whether you're organising the work Christmas party, planning that festive night out with friends, or simply treating yourself to the perfect pre-Christmas warm-up - this is guaranteed to get you, and everyone around you, well and truly in the spirit. Mulled wine in hand, the whole room singing Calypso Carol like it's the last day of term - the kind of communal magic that lingers all the way to Boxing Day. James says: "I've always loved how the songs we sang as children at Christmas brought so much joy. This show is a celebration of those moments - from assembly halls to nativity plays - and I can't wait to see audiences relive them together."

Fat Dog’s particular brand of chaos seems a fine antidote to the remains of pent-up lockdown frustration. The collective scream has found a mouth; the potential energy has been activated. Joe’s singing, his words slurred and distorted in the time-honoured tradition of delta bluesmen, melds to Jazz’s wordless vocals, high and keening like some punk banshee princess, equal parts Grace Slick and Yoko Ono.
