Renowned for his mastery of pan-African traditional instruments, many of which he creates himself, Dudù Kouate journeys through his cultural influences in this rare duo appearance with Irish multi-instrumentalist Shunya. His recent appearance with Abel Selaocoe in Newcastle was described by Broadway World as ‘transcendental...the best gig I’ve ever been to’. Alan Keary (a.k.a Shunya) is an enigmatic folk, electronic and jazz musician who has written arrangements for the BBC Proms, performed at the Hamburg Elbphilarmonie and whose recent album received glowing praise on Radio 1.
