Another singing workshop hosted by Manchester Community Choir, this time with the very fabulous Ryan O'Riordan. Ryan's a singer and choir leader from London with infectious joyous energy. Ryan teaches a mix of life-loving, high energy material that will leave you with ear worms for days! This workshop features some new originals featuring some bluegrass banjo and a variety of acapella songs written for community choirs. Refreshments included. Singer and violinist Iva Bittov in a joint concert with violinist Pavel Fischer and accordionist Jakub Jedlinsky. A captivating world music combining influences of Moravian, Balkan, Jewish, Irish and Roma music. The work of the duo Jedlinsk - Fischer combines traditional ethnic music with elements of classical, jazz and free improvisation. It is inspired by the truth of folk music, whose message is love, joy and the desire for harmony. Iva Bittov creates her music in a similar way. When such creative souls as these three meet from time to time during their concerts, their musical testimony is even more intensified!
