The venue is home to some of Liverpool's most popular and eclectic music nights, including Boss, Positive Vibration and EAT ME + Preach. They also sold out two headline London shows for Communion Music.

At first the band was a duo between Katherine Parlour and Ella Risi, who met while studying philosophy and music respectively in Manchester, before meeting Michael Nash and Sian Lynch through a Facebook community page for fellow young musicians. They started out by playing at Brixton’s The Windmill, where Lou Smith got a recording of their set. The band gathered recognition after Courtney Love reposted Smiths video to her instagram story, Parlour and Risi was at a pub as their phones were blowing up with Courtney Love fans flocking to follow the band.

FIRST WAVE OF ANNOUNCEMENTS Mercy Girl (Glasgow) Taking inspiration from EBM, Darkwave and Electro-Pop, Mercy Girl invokes both the solace of a dark empty highway, and the surrender of a neon-hazed dancefloor. Since launching in November 2024, the band have amassed a global audience and a cult online following. Having their music regularly played at, and being used to promote dark scene club nights everywhere from Los Angeles to Berlin. SDH (Barcelona) SDH (Semiotics Department of Heteronyms) is the main project of two key figures of the synth-wave/industrial scene of Barcelona. Andrea P. Latorre and Sergi Algiz, founders of the Cønjuntø Vacíø label and also in the experimental post-punk band Wind Atlas, unveil a new act more oriented towards pop music. SDH is change, alteration, distortion, metamorphosis. Their synth-pop songs, sprinkled with EBM and techno, are mysterious, obtuse and suggestive. Cosey Mueller (Berlin) Stalwart of Berlins underground scene, as co-founder of the Post-punk projects Das Das and Glaas, Cosey Mueller is a self-made musician and composer who explores danceable, both raw and melodic, synth-driven electro sounds with a straightforward punk attitude combined with a deep-rooted affection for Rock ‘n’ Roll and magnetic vocals. Bloody/bath (Northampton) Summoned initially by singer-songwriter Kailan Price but now a five-piece band, bloody/bath are a menacing spaced out post punk outfit who are becoming a cult favourite

Liverpool Drum & Bass Sound Clash - Team Jah Jah x Natral Forces
Team Jah Jah teams up with Natral Forces to bring Liverpool Sound Clash - a one-night knockout sound clash rooted in sound system culture. Selected crews go head-to-head in a knockout format, battling through quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final on the same night. Clashes are judged on selection, energy, crowd control and overall performance, with the crowd playing a key role in deciding who progresses. Audience participation happens through crowd voting on the night, with voting towels available on the door. Expect dubplates, heavyweight selections, crew unity and raw clash energy in an authentic sound clash atmosphere. This is about culture, competition and giving crews a real platform.

We are very excited to be finally returning to Liverpool after a long hiatus, and coming back to District. The venue is wheelchair accessible. Our events are mostly dance music, and there are some flashing lights (no strobes).

Pete McKee invites you to visit his latest exhibition, ‘The Boy With a Leg Named Brian’. Touring some of the UK’s most beloved Grassroots Music Venues, this is a rare opportunity to see Pete McKee’s exhibition in these amazing and unique spaces. The exhibition, ‘The Boy With A Leg Named Brian’, takes visitors on a journey through Pete’s childhood in the 70s and 80s. Although this is the story of Pete’s life, his memories and tales of everyday life and pop culture, are relatable experiences shared by many across the UK. The exhibition is open from 12pm - 5pm and entry is free for all ages. No booking required. After the show has closed, there will be a live performance in the evening from The Everly Pregnant Brothers, the northern tinged comedy ukulele band who are well known for their parodies of popular songs, Pete was one of the founding members of the band and after a summer of playing festivals, including Tramlines and Rock N Roll Circus, they are excited to be bringing songs from their latest album ‘Never Mind The Ukes, Here’s The Brothers’. As well as a showcase of Pete’s artwork, the tour is also to raise awareness of the work Music Venue Trust do in helping to support our grassroots live music venues, the lifeblood of touring for new emerging artists. Pete has created a special poster which is exclusive to each venue on the tour. Only 50 will be produced and signed by the artist, with all profits going to the Music Venue Trust and each venue in support of the UK’s independent music venues.
