They really did have the tuneful pop flair of them mop tops from the previous decade too. What a remarkable run of albums and singles they gifted us in the late 1970s. And what a stunning job of tribute Buzzkocks do. Peerless interpretations of all those kicking tunes, from Ever Fallen In Love to Moving Away From The Pulsebeat, What Do I Get to Noise Annoys. Absolutely superb, you wont be disappointed Buzzers fans. The Ramoanz likewise Dah Bruddas are expressed with loving attention to detail by these chaps. All the big choons, churned out with a cheery 1234 buzzsaw delivery just as youd hope. The original Ramones may all be gone, but The Ramoanz keep their fantastic flame well and truly lit. Tval - Northampton based electro duo playing early Kraftwerk type stuff- not very early weird Kraftwerk, but there are some flute sounds in here. Also add a bit of guitar for New Orderliness! Breathy understated vocals and a general vibe of enigmatic disquiet. Excellent. It's an eclectic as fuck bill that's for sure, but joyously unified by each act's individual brilliance. The Hushtones - super Scouse rock pop band. Power it along very well with a Blondie/Garbage vibe via something a bit more hard rocking and kick ass. DJs We Got Killers take over the dancefloor at 11. Hey! It's an eclectic as fuck playlist but all brill likewise.

To The Lighthouse- Sharp incisive electro infused indie rock with plenty in the way of hooks all played with conviction have supported the likes of Johnny Marr, The Charlatans, Kula Shaker and Razorlight. Those Naughty Lumps the Scouse cum North London old geezers post punk institution, having tried Iggy Pop's Jacket back on a few years ago, and deciding they liked the feel of the leather on their Oil of Ulay toned skin, reconvened with excellent new songs and an irreverent, comedic attitude that always makes them splendidly entertaining. The Nice Men also with a Merseyside original derivation, this excellent psych pop post punk outfit had some much fancied tunes back in the day (Nuclear Summer, Senile Youth) back in black with an updated, in yer face sound. A great opener to a great afternoon of cool music. The Benefit Cheats - a rocknroll band indeed, and a perky, punky one at that. Been around in one form or another a while now and much loved.

The Doors divide opinion. Such is the nature of Doors. Some people cant stand Jimbo, the goat ordure odoured Dionysian poet upfront, and think the music they made arch or pretentious. Some people are idiots. Here at Buggerbear HQ we think theyre one of THE greatest bands of all time, perhaps even THE greatest American band of all time. What with their blend of gothic pop, gnarled blues, baroque jazz and proto punk theatricals, being the absolute Lizard's nuts in our book. So we were very excited indeed to hear about The Fire doors, an impassioned tribute to Morrison, Manzarek, Krieger and Densmore played by people who are already highly accomplished and acclaimed artists in their own FIELD playing MUSIC that is rightly much loved. We are not a tribute to either, but most definitely a lover of both, playing a song from each band in a chronological order, with the classics held back to the end. He was a member of Public Image Ltd and Killing Joke. He founded industrial super group Pigface, The Damage Manual, and Murder Inc., and has contributed to Nine Inch Nails and Ministry. He is the owner of Invisible Records (est. 1988). And founder of the Museum Of Post Punk and Industrial Music in Chicago (2021) He is the author of 3 books on the Music Business inc Tour:Smart, and the coordinator of Music Industry Studies at Millikin University in Decatur IL. Martin is a producer, drummer, documentary filmmaker, bad DJ, and father of four. Whatever the future of music is, you can pretty much bet that hell be in the middle of it.

Crushing Dolls Over driven dirty guitars and artful angst in the vocals , garage rocking indie London boys with a great sound and goodly amounts of tood. Bleeding Daphne Excellent punky racket with clattering drums and intense but louche vocals. Cranks it up beautifully does Daphers. Andreas & The Wolf cast a sound embracing nostalgic hues and instincts but weave it into their own multi-flavoured pop realm of enterprise, imagination and pop fun. So search out those dance shoes and let's go! Cargo Cult melodic rock pop with washes of atmospheric motifs blending with minor key based grooves.

Ramases Sardinian Ramones tribute who play the whole of It's Alive and strikingly well at that. 1234, as a great man once said. Krida more Italian friends, punk pop from Parma, really good, infectious hooks and rousing choruses, top notch stuff.

Groovy arts club punky night Curated by our favourite regular Boho Beat Group, The Groovy Arts Club Band, who perform Tonite alongside Aliens (21st Century Space Punk Blues!), the infamous Vibrators/Falle Angels and Rock N Roll Rescue legend Knox (with a band) and Essex pistol packing punkers The Broken Johnnys (former Vibrator Eddie Edwards will be a busy man tonight as he drums for almost all concerned!) . DJ Mark Bannister spins hot nuggets between the acts to provide a suitably punky and rocking atmos.

Andrea Govo Govoni, singer, songwriter and musician, started his musical career in the early 2000s, going on stage at very young age, from clubs to theatres to big events for well-known names in the star system who were called to entertain their parties with his verve, vocality and knowledge of a vast repertoire of great international classics with mixed with his original songs. More then twenty years and more then two thousand gigs, collaborating with names like Steven Adler from (Guns nRoses), Paul Vangelisti (Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin poetry companion/author), Paul DiAnno (Iron Maiden) opening and playing for and with Patti Smith , Alanis Morrisette, Chris Jagger (Mick Jagger brother) , Scarlet Rivera (Bob Dylan) Eric Andersen (Johnny Cash and Dylan), Sam Lych (John Lennon), David Richards (Bowie & Queen) The Ark, and obviously many other Italian artists. After living in London in 2006, he returned to his hometown Modena and then moved permanently to Milan. An eclectic entertainer, he performs his songs with his voice, piano and guitar, his shows are like a journey through time, full of emotions from a life lived on stage.
